The only difference should be weight, with the billet weighing more

I like the m&p45 MUCH more than the 40, it just seems to deal with the recoil better.

Ah magazine would be my guess. Had the same issue and eventually Robin Taylor from Taylor Freelance set me straight.
He had me sand down all of the hard edges on the followers, clean the crap out of the tube, and trim away any excess material from the feedlip areas. Worked wonders

Im still having FTE issues. Running Carver extended ejector, with Non Loaded chamber extractor.
using .40 white bearing and extra power extractor rod spring.
Gun has SJC Cmore mount, so rounds are getting stuck side ways in slide.
Slide is Lone wolf with lowered eject port. tried 11 # to 14 # springs.
Any suggestions ?
May be an issue with the loads you're using. Whats your current recipe? My guess is, not enough oomph

I hear ya PrinC, Something like the *thumb rest [generic]* for the glock, either in stock configuration or with SJC mount IS needed... if anyone comes up with something more permanent, please post it here

Give Hodgdon H335 a try...it was developed as a military powder for .223

Hahaha I love that thing!! Very cheap/worthwhile investment IMO... just because slide bite gets to be d*mn annoying with an aggressive grip

Im guessing it could be a defective barrel too, the Lee setup may throw out differing charges, but are just as unlikely to double-charge as a Dillon press is, simply by design.
Sure, TG is a finicky powder, but that shouldnt play THIS large of a role in the Kaboomage. Was this a used pistol? How many rounds were down the pipe prior to the incident?

The G22 option gets my vote. You can convert it to 9mm if wanted, or leave it .40 and make Major easier
Either way, starting with a Glock is going to be the most inexpensive option (and +1 for the Jager kit)

Thats the route i ended up going, very pleased with the results too
I had heard that going with a longer barrel/slide wasn't a good option (I believe it was from the folks at SJC). Something about lower tolerances and fatigue. So I kept the 34 for production and bought an old G22 for the project.
If you're going Major, a KKM barrel is a must
