Since it is a silly build and an old thread, build a 40 open gun on a G22 which can be had inexpensively and 40 makes major easily. 170 mags are easy too.

Any thoughts on brass grips or magwell to tame that?

I think the factory mags at 26 rounds are more reliable with no extension but that obviously leaves something out.

I use the CZC mount and Sig Max dot. It is nice.

My MBX 170 ran like a champ today. My CZ/extension 140’s have been reliable.

I just received my big stick in the mail today. I ran out to the the range for a test. I was able to load 29 easily, seating the mag took a whack and cycling the slide was like molasses in winter, but it is brand new. Range test was perfect, match tomorrow will tell the tale. A small frame CZ 170 mag is possible using a Promag body, a Grams spring and a plus one base pad. About $70.

I removed my fiber optic, and had them make a filler block. I think it was an additional $30.

I just had Battlewerx do my G48. I opted to lose the rear sight and use the Holosun K rear sight wings as backup. I like it a lot. perfect milling and I had the silver slide refinished to black.

I think I bought an assortment pack for my CZ, I used one and liked it and the rest are still in the package.

I don't own a Shadow Systems (but I like them from fondling them in the store) but if you were to add a few items like steel sights to a Glock you are in the Shadow Systems price range.

My new toy arrived, weighs 5.1 oz, looks almost the same as the above photo installed. Balance empty with a 4 oz weapon light is almost neutral to the trigger. No test fire yet.

I saw and handled one of these today. Pretty nice blaster but with a limited use in our game. Of course I thought a 3 gun open division gun (but I already have one or two). It was listed with a Sig 30 round magazine but I did not see in my Google-ing if it makes the 170mm length. Anyone know? p320 spectre comp

Its a love/hate thing. I have been going to the range and blasting mercilessly but it chokes at a match.

I like the 510c much better than the VR80, still working on getting the VR80 to not crap the bed at a match. Put the circle dot on the clay and it blows up.

The P10F and the P10c should be relatively close in price, the P10F CR (competition ready) may be $400 more. I have both the C and F with aftermarket trigger and both are great pistols. I do not feel the aftermarket trigger was any better than stock on my particular gun, both were good.

I just looked. ATEi or Nighthawk both offer the service as “big” names, several other shops came up for me.

I have one in similar shape and with 147 gr minor loads and the weight of the gun I am not sure a comp would make it sny softer.

Most of the basepads are for 17 round Mecgars to make 140mm, CZ Custom offers basepads for the 16 and 18 round mags.
