  1. You will love the gun and their work. Top notch. The ammo...good luck! I hope the craziness calms down soon...
  2. I think you can get a trigger you will be really happy with from a Powder River Precision drop in kit. Easy to install. I am going to guess 4 lbs pull and a super short reset. My other XDm has a Springer Precision competition trigger job. 2.5 lbs, super nice. But not for a carry gun!
  3. Thanks for all the input. Maybe, for once, I should leave well enough alone! The N340 does work well for me. Just get a lot of comments about the price. which if you break it down, really isn't a big factor. The two powders that always seems to be suggested are TG and WW231. I always seem to want to try something else...
  4. I have been reloading 9mm for about a year. The guy that got me started used N340 and consequently I do as well. I get some weird looks when I tell other reloaders that I am using the N340 because of the price. Any thoughts on a comparable, lower priced alternative powder? Or should I stick with what is working. I am happy with it BTW. Shooting some nice soft, accurate loads with it. Using 3.5 gr of powder with a Berrys 147 bullet. Thanks in advance!
  5. I fought the same issue with my 5.25. Everyone said it was me riding the slide release. I was convinced that it was the magazines...the gun...anything but the shooter! Load some mags with two round each and shoot left handed only, so as not to touch the slide release. I did this, the slide locked back and I finally realized where the problem was! Great gun. I really enjoy mine.
  6. I recently purchased my XDM 5.25 form Springer Precision. Mostly because they had the gun in stock, but it was nice to receive the gun with some work already performed. They did a great job on the mods and they were quick! The trigger is fantastic and the stippling job is really first rate. Absolutely recommended!
