Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Sights give me feedback. Sights control and contain my shooting.
  2. Hello Micah. Let me share my thoughts. I sincerely hope you continue this for you have inspired a lot of people. I enjoyed reading your story. I wish you all the luck.
  3. I finished reading all 76 pages. Micah, your story is an inspiration.
  4. Just came back from a local match. I failed to engaged 2 paper targets. That did the match for me. I was wondering how could I resolve the issue on my way home so it wont happen again. Did a search here. Then... Boom... there goes my answer. Im learning.. and want to learn. Thank you Steve.
  5. I would like to say that I followed this advise using the stock extractor and extractor spring. It resolved the extraction problem in my m&p9. Whereas before, I used to have an average of 2 failure to extract per match. I recommend this procedure. MemphisMechanic, and those who shared in providing this solution, thank you very much.
  6. There you go again. LOL.. All the while I was looking for validation of my observation. Then why "in reality Im not seeing anything at all in crystal clear refinement...And then the steel will start falling again".
  7. Thank you for all the replies. I have finally seen the "front sight", i.e. the form of the steel.. the rectangular object.. the building. For before, I thought, when you speak of front sight you were referring to the dot -- a very bright green fiber optic dot -- for this is what I saw as front sight when I was doing dry fire and actual shooting. Now, I see the former and not anymore the latter.
  8. Just today, while I was doing dry fire, I consciously took my attention off on the dot on the front sight. Then, that was the first time I noticed the light bars on the sides. I further explored, I then noticed for the first time the roof (upper portion) of the front sight. My conclusion was that, when I started to NOT focus ONLY on one thing, I began to see other things. When I shifted my focus away from the dot, I saw the light bars... the roof. Weird thing, I start to see now the front sight as a building Im seeing afar and not just a dot. I dont know if these are valid observation. Im just a class C production shooter, and open and willing to learn. Can anyone please validate this? Thank you in advance.
  9. Next time, Im going to nail this in my head.
  10. Hello, Pat! Great information and clear instruction.
  11. Thank you. Salamat sa lahat ng aking mga Kabayan. Ingat po kayo dyan.
  12. Pat, what would you suggest to a production C shooter like me? Those 6 areas I believe are overwhelming to work on at the same time. Would it be advisable if say I focus on accuracy and transition first. I dont know how to go about it. Thank you.
