  1. My 1301 has been burst firing the last few matches I've shot it. Usually just 1 additional shot (has happened 5 times), but one time it threw out 3 shots. I tore it down Friday night, inspected the trigger pack and cleaned it real good. Everything seemed fine, but it happened again Saturday. Any ideas on what could be causing this, how to fix it or who I could contact to get it looked at? Keep in mind, I do not possess very strong gunsmithing abilities. Thanks in advance
  2. Does anyone know of any aftermarket bolt handles for the 1301 Competition? Mine broke in a match over the weekend and Beretta directs me to order one from Brownells, who wants $40 for a new one. If I'm going to pay $40 for a new bolt handle, I want it to me all metal, not an inch long piece of plastic.
  3. Building a new 3 Gun Belt. Which do you prefer/recommend? 771 or 773?
  4. In. And I know of at least 4 or 5 others who want in as well. When will you have info on registering? And is there anything I can do to help?
  5. I had a great time at this match. A lot of fun stages. Great squad members. Great BBQ Lunch. Great prize table. And best of all, a lot of people coming together to raise money for a great cause. Yes I realize the overuse of the word "great", but I am exhausted from the match and my vocabulary won't be up to par for another day or two. Thanks again Gregg for a "Great" match.
  6. I have a Higher Capacity 55rd mag I pulled off a prize table. Never had a single issue with it. I use it on every stage I don't have to go prone. http://www.highercapacity.us/Pricing.html If I have to go prone, 2 30rd PMags with a coupler is my go to choice. I also have a 30rd PMag with the Nordic Extension. I have only used it a handful of times, because I got the Higher Capacity just a few matches later. But no issues with it. I am considering getting another 30rd PMag, Nordic Extension and another coupler, for IronMan.
  7. Just got an email from Primary Arms, they're having a sale on Millett 1-4x w/ mount for $199 http://www.primaryarms.com/Millett_1_4_x_24_DMS_Multi_Coat_RedDot_Rifl_p/bk81002.htm?utm_source=constant%2Bcontact&utm_medium=e-mail&utm_content=Millett1-4&utm_campaign=Christmas%2BIII
  8. Thanks for the offer Mark. but unfortunately I will not be able to shoot the Noveske match this year. I am still fairly new to the sport (2 years). I don't feel my skill level is where it should be to start traveling too far. I am going to stick to WA, OR and ID for matches (NWMGC, Iron Man, Ephrata, Tri Cities and Area 1) and dedicating 2013 to practice with the goal of adding traveling to CO, NM and AZ in 2014. But thanks again for the offer. It's greatly appreciated.
  9. Starting to shoot matches is far more important in the grand scheme of things over having all your gear/ideal setup. Just like the old adage "It's the Indian, not the arrow" thing. Getting a few matches under your belt will be more valuable in the sense of knowing what you really need vs, what you think you want. Plus, getting over the hurdle of learning to shoot "On the clock". It's one thing to go to the range or up in the hills and rattle off a few hundred rounds. all that goes out the window as soon as the timer goes off. I see you are down in Wilsonville. There are 3 local monthly matches within 45 minutes of you. Go shoot one. 2nd Sunday of the month is down at Albany Rifle and Pistol club off exit 228. 3rd Saturday is at Tri County Gun Club in Sherwood. 4th Sunday is at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club in Boring. (Douglas Ridge is the best for shooters new to the sport). I try to make it to all three each month and am more than happy to shoot with you and help you out. Just message me here. The next Douglas Ridge match is Sunday the 30th 9 AM. I will be there. I hear-by invite you to this match, offer to pay your $10 fee and let you use all my gear. All you have to do is show up and bring some ammo.
  10. . The length ... well they will cut to length.Sendit repconnw.com will cut to length or someone else? I didn't see that as an option on their website. Contact Chris or Bryan at Repcon, they'll take care of it
  11. I just picked up the Leupold VX-R 2-7x and couldnt be happier. SWFA
  12. I have the Dawson BAse Pads and PistolGear Mag Well. No problems here
  13. A buddy of mine picked up some of the green box American Eagle Green Tipped 62gr XM855f ammo on his last trip to a surplus shop. I just looked them up online and it says that they are lead core, with a steel tip and copper FMJ. Are these allowed at major 3 Gun matches? I know steel core bullets aren't allowed as they are rough on the targets and will result in a DQ. But I checked with a magnet and they don't stick.
  14. A few pictures of me in my Mascot Gear at the NW Multigun Challenge taken by Bryan of Repcon NW No pants, but I like this one Yeah, I got a big ass Also no pants, but I love this picture
  15. I've been using a 1-4x and would usually run at 2x if the targets were 25yds or more (our local matches use the 1/2 size IPSC targets for rifle targets). But for the last few months I've been shooting all close up targets at 2x in preparation for a new scope. Just got a 2-7x.
  16. I received mine yesterday. I like it. High quality. Great price, but i was only allowed to add +3 rounds into my 9mm XDm. i was hoping for 3-5+ rounds. I'll take it, due to ease of use. But 4-5+ would have been better.
