i"ll second the BCM gunfighters being the best. i have them on both my ar's and my buddy also uses them.
-
Eotech wouldnt be a bad bet either.

has the price been announced on this yet?

my competition rifle is currently zeroed for 55gr pmc fmj's. how much will my zero change if i need to switch to a 72gr ballistic tip or hollow point for hunting this weekend would it be roughly the same?
-
burris tac 30, i shoot an mtac and absolutely love it. great reticle and great glass for the price. also you get illumination. i would say all around a better scope. also i believe the m223 has target turrets which tend to get knocked out of zero during three gun.

The Glock, M&P, or XD would be a much better option in the circumstance. Since most Marines are within the ages group of 18-26, it would be easier to teach young Marines how to use and maintain a pistol that is just downright easier to disassemble. However, I know the Glock doesn't meet the military standards (mainly a thumb safety) but I think some thinking outside the box was in order here.
I love the 1911 pistol but for combat these days, there are some better options.
i completely agree. The usmc should have went with a more modern polymer pistol that holds more rounds, im pretty sure there are M@p's that come with a thumb safety. this would have been cheaper and i think a better route

i ended up buying a used custom target 2, i am def taking your advice mark and spending the money on practice over a highspeed gun and equipment

Remington managed recoils work great in my m2, they are very accurate at 100yrds i have not shot them past that yet though
-
i used blue loctite and it fixed the problem thanks for the advice

i just purchased a kimber custom target 2 and am going to move to single stack uspsa. what upgrades, mods, and changes should i make to this pistol to make it more competitive and in what order? thanks
-
any ideas on how to fix this or if it matters?

i just finished a ar build and i cant seem to take the last little bit of play out of my a2 stock. it wiggles slightly where it meets the receiver.

ranier arms match 18 in spr barrel
-
i have cleaned and lubed it but not changed the spring. and after the first shell failed to go into the tube the only way i can get it out is to pull the bolt back and then the shell lifter gets jammed in the up position and the bolt is stuck to the rear.
-
when i say load i mean put one into the tube not into the pipe
-
i recently put on a nordic +5 extension on my benelli m2 and it has worked fine for the last 3 months until now. when i attempt to load my first shell it locks up and refuses to go in. i then am forced to rack the bolt where the bolt get locked back with the lifter up. i then pull on the bolt and it moves forward into battery. then i can load the shotgun. then after i eject all the shells to load again it again it will not load the first shell restarting the whole process. so basically every other time i attempt to load my shotty it will not work. any idea's?

i just finished a build that i think came out around there, im a little afraid to tally it up.
ranier arms matched upper and lower
gieselle 3g trigger
ranier arms spr 18in barrel
a2 stock
vtac jp handguard
burris m-tac scope
adm recon-x mount
young manufacturing light bcg
light buffer
larue gas block
surefire k compensator
i picked up the gas block, stock, and handguard all used which saved me a bunch of money.
-
i personally own an ADM Recon-x and it holds a zero very well, and i am very happy with mine. i shoot with allot of people who use the larue mount and they swear by them. in my opinion you can't go wrong with either, they are both great mounts
-
i bought a ADM Recon x and love it. holds a zero well and is well made
-
i would like to continue to shoot tac optics.

i currently have a burris mtac and a free float tube on my bushy. i shot three gun last year with it and really enjoyed it. basically the bug has just bit me for a new ar and i want to upgrade to something that would be better for three gun and coyote hunting. i would put my burris on the new weapon and look for an eotech for my current gun.
-
i am looking to buy a new Ar-15 that can do it all. i am a college student so buying multiple weapons is kinda out of my budget right now. i currently have a bushmaster 16in carbine but am looking to upgrade to something better. i have looked at the stag 3g and it looks very promising. any opinions on what the best ar-15 would be to do everything from 3gun, to coyote hunting, to home defense?
-
any opinions on the savage 10/110 fcp hs precision? i am looking to buy one and for the money seems like a great option to get into long range shooting.

what kind of comp is that?
