Somebody want to make some extra money off the ammo shortage evidently and a uninformed buyers. They look like standard dies to me.

I'd guess somewhere around 80-90% of the total new cost for the setup as is to the right buyer.

Well if you send it back, when it returns you'll swear it's a new machine!

I run 2 650's one for small and one for large primers. I swap one case feeder between the two 650's. I have a 550 set up for small batches of rifle ammo.

Just call Dillon they’ll mail you a replacement just let them know the part number.

I load both ways on my 650’s. They are on strong mounts. I use an adjustable chair when sitting just adjust up to where it feels right.

Why not just ask Dillon? May not be as much as you think. A couple of years back I sent a 550 in. It essentially came back a new machine well worth the cost.

Call them it's the fastest way to get replacement parts.

Time for a second 550 then you have one for each primer size!

I use a 550 for low volume loading. I have 2 650’s one for small primers and one for large primers. They are set for 38 special and .45 auto. All the other low volume loading is on the 550. I haven’t had any issues switching between the 2 styles of presses.

Great press I have 2 650's one for large primers and one for small primers. I shift one case feeder to the press in use at the time so far that's working well. Although I've considered ordering a second case feeder just haven't decided to spend the money to avoid changing from press to press. You'll love it I can usually load 500 rounds in about 35 minutes with 5 primer tubes filled before I start.

Looks like you have a plastic bushing missing that goes where your arrow is pointing to. On my .45 ACP setup the bushing is red. Not sure what caliber you're loading but that bushing would be with your caliber conversion kit.

I usually open a box of bullets and quit when they are gone. Boxes of 500 bullets and before I start I fill 5 primer tubes so I don't have to stop loading to fill primers.

I use one and like it. It only shows double or no charge but it works well for me.

I'd recommend keep the 550 set up for small or large primers, get the 650 setup with case feeder and what ever size primers you use most often. I have 2 650's that I swap case feeder between one set up for .38 special one for .45 ACP. I also still have my 550 setup I use for small runs of calibers I don't shoot often.

My 650 on strong mount is about 42 inches tall with case feeder. I have about 10 inches clearance above and it's plenty of room. I have a small mirror on the ceiling about the case feeder I use to check the cases in the hopper.
