To back MikeR i purchased my Edge on Uspsa classified for $1300 and spent $130 for the EGW lighting trig/hammer kit and it runs like a champ for 1400 does it look brand new no does it run flawless yes. I am looking for a CZ currently to try out and see if i like it better. My main reason is mags are cheap for the cz and they seem to run forever.

@--Jtaylor That is why i chose to wait for the PA 1-6 to come out lots of great reviews and you can see that the company puts time into the design of there product for a fraction of the cost.

I hope that its from riding in your truck i have one of these on order.

From my understanding and i may have been told wrong but in europe EAA and CZ are dominate over the 2011?

Tony i think its alot to do with how people see CZ as far as marketing. One of my favorite lines is if M. Jordon wore berkenstock sandals and won all his NBA titles people would be buying sandals and Nike would be just another shoe company.

I have been all over the web looking for one. Nobody local has one everyone on the web is sold out with no know delivery date. Are they that good or is it that the only import so many and they are hard to get stock of?

I would say no matter what you are lucky she shows interest in shooting with you. I myself have 2 daughters and a wife who could care less about shooting sports only time they show interest is in how much something costs. IMO i would go to the range and if possible rent a few production pistols explain each division to her and the pros and cons of each.

Just tossing this out there. I shoot an Edge for a couple years now was thinking about going with the TS this year. I looked around for a TS for about a month did some searches on the web and could not find one in stock anywhere at that time. Looks like there are a few places to go to get parts and aftermarket goodies. STI's have tons of aftermarket support was kinda expecting the same for the CZ but was let down a little by the fact i could not find any in stock and that there only seems to be 2-3 places that even carry parts. One thing i will say is Mags are way cheaper for the CZ over the STI and looks like the aftermarket parts i did find for the CZ seem very on par with the STI in price.

Funny i just replaced the guts in my Edge for the very same reason. Had hammer follow with the cycle of the slide. New Trigger group kit from Dawson and its back up and running without any problems so far. Lots of wear on the parts i pulled out was past time for tuneup.

Hey Roundguy, For your match ammo do find that the ammo produced on the 550 is more consistent and more accurate or do you notice any difference. Thank you IMO i find my loads are more consistent when loaded on the Dillion over my turret loads plus the time saved is huge.

I think Mike21 is right. I would start at 5-5.2 and work up from there if needed.

I also load on a turret press for myself and if i have a big match coming up i go to my buddys and load on his 550 crank out about 1k rounds easy couple hours he is very well versed on his dillion. That gives me time to check/prep all my loads i like to drop fit and clean up my match ammo. That being said just today i finally ordered my own Dillion this will save me the time of going to his house last minute and rush load.

Go out and shoot a match. As far as STI i have a well used edge and love it. Started with a M&P setup for limited moved to a Para then i picked up an Edge and wish i would have just done this from the start. If you go to a match im sure that someone is shooting a STI and will let you test drive it. I for one will let others try mine out.

Looks like mornings are almost full? And i just got my app in mail yesterday need to make note to self next year send it in Feb. to avoid shooting evenings.

I currently shoot a para and like it alot it always runs. I do change things out on it to try to improve it to my liking.I got mine used and it fits ok not great but ok. What my point is i can spend some cash on my para to make it work good for me and still come out ahead of a custom that i will also spend some cash on to make it feel right to me. Yes S_I are better made i will agree but they also need work just like your para will to make it work right for you. And no manufacture is going to give you info on how to modify your gun they may as well send you a check and save on the possible lawsuit that would open them up to.

Looking forward to this one again. I Shot it last year could not say anything bad about the whole match.

I found with my m&p the sweet spot was 1.135 mine feeds without any problems only time i had problems is when i went shorter. In ruffly a thousand rounds i have had 1 ftf and it was due to a bad crimp on case.

Never give em your home phone lol. My wife just rolls her eyes and lets me get what i want as long as nobody goes without to feed my addiction.

Iggy i shoot with a guy who has the xdm and as far as i can see it works. I just think there is not much of a following yet.IMO if someone started winning with a slingshot and purple sparkle marbles soon you will see more people shooting slingshots with purple sparkle marbles. Best advice i recived is use what you can afford and practice alot.This is advice i dont always follow.

You would think they would include it but hard to say. I say if the 9 pro is on the list why cant the 40 be on it same gun just bigger barrel not like you gain an advantage by shooting 40 over 9.

Im shooting the M&P 40pro in limited now but im switching to the para i got used off another forum. The weight feels better to me. My M&P is nice but i like the feel of the para. I did get a chance to shoot a 2011 and would like to own one but the funds are not there at this time so the para was my second option i bought used and i got a pistol for a good price with some mods already done on it.
