  1. I would highly recommend looking at the BBI 135 grain. Chandler molded that due to the rise in popularity of the shadow. It also helps that mink/automatic accuracy exclusively use the BBI 135s.
  2. Bump, we got out first registration. Help us out and get your forms in ASAP. Thanks everyone
  3. On October 25, 2014, Tennessee Sports Foundation in Jackson, Tennessee will be hosting its 2nd annual 3-gun benefit match. 100% of the proceeds from this match will go to benefit West Tennessee Healthcare's breast cancer awareness fund. This fund does not support any research and does not pay any salaries. All of it stays in West Tennessee and goes to the products and support services provided to the patients. The match will feature: 5-10 challenging courses of fire featuring our club's natural terrain. Match fee: $50.00 if preregistered. $60.00 if registering day of the match. Registration: 9:00 am Walkthrough: 9:30 am First shot 10:00 am Please invite your friends and family and help us make this a great match to support a worthy cause. Also, if you are interested in RO'ing and/or helping please feel free to contact me. We look forward to a great match. If you have any questions please feel to ask https://www.facebook.com/events/437653216377748/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming 2014 Tennessee Sports Foundation.pdf
  4. I am 100% convinced the best rig is the one in your safe (or wherever). Every option has it's pluses and minuses but just shoot the darn things and get good with it- unless you are supra-GM the negatives will not be that big of a player in your game, especially in production. Now if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, go for it! But having a 34/pro/xdm is not going to hurt your game in comparison to a EAA/CZ. If you were arguing a 35 to a 2011 in limited, there might be an argument for the benefits in the gun itself. But there have been a couple 35s that have won titles (that matter), just like 34s. As a mentor of mine says "it's often the indian, not the arrow" That's my thoughts.
  5. Just give Chandler a call at BBI and ask him about his sample pack... You'll dig em. Plus Chandler is like a database of load data
  6. This is a lie. No one just finds a CzC accushadow
  7. I transitioned from California caddies to the IP - Kevin is a buddy of mine and wanted give his product a whirl first. I have seen these grow from proto to production and every step in between. Kevin's primary concern is and was customizable quality. The nice things about IP is they are 100% customizable. Every angle of the caddy can be tuned to you. Also every aspects of the caddy is "bullet proof". He truly designed his caddies without cutting corners - his last concern was his margin. But say you do break something or have questions, Kevin will take care of you - no questions asked. That's my two cents. If you have any further questions, call Kevin. He can walk you through every facet of his product that makes them better.
  8. I'm starting my own shell carrier design. selling these for 17.50 free shipping. Clearly different because they are blue - an indescribable advantage. Obviously I'm not doing that - it is simply an illustration. Seriously though. As many have pointed out the taccom product is nothing differentiated or innovative - an angle change, a competitive advantage does not make. No, (insert company name) didn't invent (quad load, weak hand, double fist load etc). But they manufactured a product that facilities that function and offers an advantage over another company's. From what I'm seeing (the lay consumer) this "new release" is a duplication of someone else's efforts. Why not innovate and improve your designs to make them better? Don't get mad at the guy winning the race, get mad that you didn't win and ask why. This concept of letting others pave the way is becoming more and more rampant in the shooting community. and its beyond disappointing in a sport that stands for honor and pride. My challenge to the industry as a whole is to bring the best you can to the market. That's where the money is. Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk
  9. And please dont take that as me being ungrateful. Our sponsors are incredible in this sport. In all the other sports I've played, I have never seen such support. It is incredible and does not go unnoticed. As such (as we all do) I do my best to give those companies my business. My point was solely that; ultimately I am going to shoot and prize table or not, I would still go. The prize tables are awesome and appreciated but again its not a Tupperware party - its not about What I bring home. Its about shooting/competing, fraternizing/representing sponsors but most importantly having fun. If you're not having fun it's time to do something else
  10. Wait wait wait, you guys go to matches for prizes? I go to shoot/compete. Could honestly care less if they were giving away a gun or a collection of my little ponies. Crazy, I know
  11. As someone who did this on his benelli, I would highly recommend not doing this. I just interfered with the open awesomeness of a shotgun and slowed me down. BUT if you are going to do it, Look up Rose Action Sports. Steve does a GREAT job with this stuff.
  12. Heck get the spendy stuff - royal purple. Plus you can wear it as aftershave to clean up after the match. Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk
  13. Coming from the cycling industry where everything is carbon fiber or it isn't bought.....the one question I word have is if it is truly carbon fiber. 90% of the time, pieces like this are simply an aluminum sleeve with one to two layers of a 5k weave wrapped around it.... so in reality you have a nc tube with a fancy sticker wrapped around it. But you pay 2-3 times more .... Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk
  14. Had the same question when mink built my gun. He said no. The polymer acts as a buffer. I took his word and ran with it.
  15. Have received a couple questions about our match. The Tennessee sports foundation in Jackson, tn will be hosting our monthly match this Saturday . Going to be so gnar! Set up 8 Registration 9 Trigger time 10 $10 to play Look forward to having a great group of guys out ...going to be a great day
  16. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it was cold, and it was windy and we didn't get done until dark but we did it - we raised $1000.00 for Breast Cancer Awareness! Thank you to each one of you who came out yesterday. We had a great time shooting with everyone. All said and done, we hosted 33 shooters and had over 100 people visit the range - pretty awesome considering the weather and it being the first day of deer season. Additionally, do not forget about our sponsors who helped us have an INCREDIBLE prize table! They all gave up their time and money to fill those prize tables (yes, I said tables). Check out their Facebook pages, give them a like and be sure to thank them.Crucible Armament Freedom Munitions (Official) FRS PowersportsElite Restoration Cross M Tool DeLaRosa Tactical Holsters Black Bullets International Range USA and Invictus Practical and Lands and Grooves (who will be opening their shop in the near future over by the Jackson Airport - so keep your eyes peeled) A HUGE thank you goes out to the members of Tennessee Sports Foundation. They made sure everything ran smoothly while we were all playing and made sure we were all fed. And of course, thank you to Hunter Sykes. He worked tirelessly on this match for the past several months and was a key player in making yesterday happen. We already have plans in the works for next year. In the mean time, we host 3-gun every 4th saturday of the month and would love to have everyone out! However, we will not be hosting a match in December due to Christmas. I will be creating a video to post on Facebook. If any of you have photos and videos to contribute, please send them to me at ckell101@gmail.com Thank you again everyone, have a great Sunday and a happy Thanksgiving.
  17. The Tennessee Sports Foundation Breast Cancer Benefit Match is approaching and it looks like we are going to have decent weather. As details on the match are finalized, there are several sponsors who have stepped up and shown their support. We would like to recognize and thank them - they've helped make this match a success. As these companies are supporting you, please take some time to thank them. 1.) Range USA of Jackson has donated an AR-15 to the prize table. 2.) Hadley Owens at Crucible Armament has donated Gift Certificates for custom gun work and Nordic Components AR Magazine extensions to the prize table. 3.) Lands and Grooves has donated 1000 rounds of .223 and a S&W M&P Shield to the prize table. 4.) Freedom Munitions (Official) had donated gift certificates for ammo to the prize table. 5.) FRS Powersports has lent us use of a Can-Am Off-RoadCommander for the day and helped the club purchase targets for the match. 6.) Elite Restoration will be providing lunch for everyone at the match and making a donation to the prize table. 7.) Cross M Tool has donated AR uppers and lowers to the prize table. 8.) DeLaRosa Tactical Holsters had donated a pistol holster to the prize table. 9.) Chandler LaFrain at Black Bullets International has donate gift certificates for bullets to the prize table. Additionally, Chandler will be donating 5% of every sale made at the match to West Tennessee Healthcare and the breast cancer awareness fund. These sponsors are amazing companies, offering great products and are owned and operated by outstanding people. Be sure, when shopping, to consider them first to show your appreciation. Hunter Sykes and the members of the Tennessee Sports Foundation are working very hard over the next few days to wrap up the minor details and begin setting the match up. We hope to see you all Saturday and we can't wait to do our part to aid those combatting breast cancer.
  18. I am sorry to hear about your mother -almost all the women in my family have wrestled with breast cancer so our match has a special meaning to me. I also know all the guys working on this match and their families have fought the illness as well. We have lined up several local and national sponsors and are planning on having a great spread to eat. Bring your friends and families.
