  1. Well, I certainly can't go wrong with Warren, my honey. And Jay kept asking both of us how the gun was running. He really wanted to make sure it was running well. Both of them know what they're doing, and care a lot about doing a good job. Tracy Tracy both you guys were so nice it was sure nice meeting you..are you guys going to the cameron cup?
  2. both are 2 of the best stand-up guys at the cup...awsome gunsmiths and awsome guys how can you go wrong!!
  3. I prefer the Leupold. I have the Mark 4 M5 TMR..I did the same thing you are doing shoping around and ended up on the Leupold. the only scope i liked better was the S&B but it was 1200 more and there wastn 1200 difference for me. A buddy of mine has sent 2 NF scopes back becuase of problems and they are bigger and didnt have the first focal...hope this helps just...but when you in the level of scopes you are looking at it comes down to personal pref.
  4. I had a similar problem or sound on my 650...i lubed everything still was there....then lubed the roller handled and it went away...
  5. In my opinion the 1050 is awesome for 223.....I have a 650 money isn't an issue for me but...I shoot a lot more pistol than rifle and ther isn't much advantage to the 1050 on pistols,.....but on the 223 it's a big plus and speeds things up a lot...so my opinion get the 650 for pistols cal conversions are cheaper and faster with less time..then get a 1050 for rifle so you can do the 223 and 308...I reload in bulk so I don't change cals that often Keep in mind reloaders are like cars everyone has their own opinion and just do what works for you...good news is you can't make a bad buy both presses are awesome
  6. I use all zero bullets...they shoot the best out of all of my guns....in 9mm I use 3.9 grains of clays(softer shooting) with 115 grn jhps you can get them from czcustom for 100 per 1k if you buy 3 k I just bought some cci primers from powder valley for 24 per 1k so I bought 20k of them..I agree with everyone in the fact that bulk is best......also consider other guns you shoot...i also shoot a lot of 38super both major and minor...so I use the same 115 grn jhps in everything so when they go on sale I buy as many as I can.....not sure if I helped or just agreed with everyone else.
  7. I use imr 8208 meters really well through my dillon 650 use it 223 and 308
  8. It shot a .6" 5 shot group @ 25 yards but we think the Ransom rest is moving becuase of the manual trigger pull They are far from a factory gun. Caspian frame, KKM barrel with EGW internals..basicly the best parts on the market right now. The Dan Wesson Elite line are all built by 1 man here in Kansas. They usally come in all black with out the sides of the slides polished. Becuase I am friends with the guy who created the elite line and the builder i had a custom 2 tone color done and i polished the slide out. You can order one @ any retailer who carries Dan Wesson. the havoc is $4300...if you are interested in getting one and need help let me know can get you set up with someone who will take care of you. Thanks guys
  9. This is my new Dan Wesson Elite Havoc

  11. Hi my name Nick Guess and I am a member of the Bullethole practical shooting club(www.BHPSC.us). I wanted to invite any shooters in the Kansas City area to come shoot with us on Friday nights. We start shooting at 630pm so you should get there at 6:00pm for a safety briefing. If you are looking for a good time and want to try something new come join us. Let me know if you would like to come shoot and I can give you more information about the club and what we do. Thanks

  13. Thanks for all the help. I will try a few of the ideas and see if they help. the only problem with getting him more involved is that he knows everything about everything so hopefuly we can plug him in a place that will fit and keep him positive... i will keep you updated on the saga that is USPSA friday nights

  15. How do you deal with negative members in your club. we have a guy who tends to argue with everyone and has nothing but negative things to say and no matter what he knows everything. There are several members that feel the same way. I would like for either the negativity or him to go away....How would you guys handled it and is there any rules in USPSA that would cover this kind of thing
