  1. Uses CZ Scorpion Evo mags and a Kynshot hydraulic buffer. Supposed to price "around the $2,000 mark". https://danieldefense.com/pcc https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2024/01/25/shot-2024-daniel-defense-h9-dd-pcc/
  2. That pic reminds me that mine is overdue for a cleaning. How long did it take with the Dremel engraver?
  3. Here's one site to review: https://www.thearmorylife.com/forum/threads/prodigy-5in-w-hex-dragonfly.14389/
  4. I used JB Weld as the adhesive, and 60/90 grit silicon carbide in the smallest amount I could purchase on Ebay or Amazon. Wearing latex gloves, I also gently pushed the grit into the adhesive to make sure there were no high spots. Don't worry about a perfect application ... there's always tiny amounts you scrape or sand away after drying.
  5. Other forums blame the loaded chamber indicator (LCI) in the Prodigy barrel. They mention using this company to weld and blend the LCI to eliminate the hole completely. https://dscgunworks.com/products/weld-blend-loaded-chamber-indicator?pr_prod_strat=use_description&pr_rec_id=c0e02989e&pr_rec_pid=8039831470310&pr_ref_pid=7760508551398&pr_seq=uniform
  6. Do you see any differences between the old & new shell plates?
  7. Now that you've shot a match with it ... do you think it's worth $1,500 ? Would you buy it again?
  8. Back when I ran a Colt PCC I used whatever mag holders I had for double stack pistols. Glock, Springfield XD, Tanfoglio ... you may already have something that will work.
  9. For comparison, my PM9 only choked when it (temporarily) had a Shok-Buff in it.
  10. I buy some cheap plastic or wood grips for my silicon carbide treatments and keep the original grips in original condition.
  11. I asked a JP rep when I got my GMR-15 and he told me you didn't need to break in PCC barrels.
  12. I would also consider the Holosun 510. Huge window, multiple reticles, and about half the price of the other two sights you've listed.
  13. What's the advantage of this method vs using a trigger gauge conventionally in double action mode?
  14. Winchester allowed me to return 7.62x39 ammo which did not ignite even with deep primer strikes, and actually reimbursed me more than I paid for it. https://www.winchester.com/Support/Customers/Product-Support It took a while to get the check ... maybe 8 weeks.
  15. In 8.2.3: The competitor, while waiting for the start signal, must be pointing/aiming their gun at the aiming point with their finger off the trigger and the finger outside of the trigger guard. If I'm running the timer and I can see that they're not pointing at the flag, I just tell them to point at the flag. It almost always takes 2 or 3 corrections for the shooter to remember to point at the flag.
  16. Remember, that 32 round limit is for level 3 matches or higher.
  17. Check out this 10 second video to see the pin. You don't pinch the mag with an extension. https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/10-ultralight-base-pad-for-glock-pcc-9mm-30-31-33-round-oem-magazines/
  18. I no longer own it, but these are the sights that came with mine:
  19. #6 for me. Your age will also dictate what size dot you prefer.
  20. I had to get the MK III Hand Guard Tool from JP for my GMR15. IIRC they sent it at no charge.
  21. Another vote for Taran Tactical: https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/10-ultralight-base-pad-for-glock-pcc-9mm-30-31-33-round-oem-magazines/ I load mine to 42 or 43 (can't recall) and never had a problem. I have 5 of them. I received their black Friday sale email listing a discount code of BF35PARTS
  22. Try this technique for over travel screw adjustment. I use a ball-end allen wrench (aka balldriver) which is flexible enough to be inserted as shown in the pic below.
  23. After 10 years my M&P R8 has a new problem where the cylinder release latch is sticking to the point where you can't open the cylinder. It appears that the bolt is pinching against the hammer. Check out the wear marks. I guess I can stone the bolt and/or hammer. Is this a common problem with N frames?
  24. I've had mine for many years and love it. My only mods are Talon grips and a night sight. Best grip angle for my hand. Shot it in production division a few times. Never shot wadcutters ... FMJ for USPSA & range practice. It's normally loaded with Winchester 230g Ranger hollow points with an attached Streamlight TLR-1 HL.
  25. Check out Carver: https://www.carvercustom.com/ecommerce/custom-magwells-glock-xd-xdm/custom-xd-xdm-magwells.cfm
