  1. If you'll buy the beer...........................
  2. My first limited gun has around 85,000K on it and still going. STI frame and slide, Schuemann barrel, and various manufacturer internals. Built by local gunsmith. The only thing changed has been the front sight and one sear.
  3. The prize table is shaping up very nicely for the match and should even be a step up from the excellent table in 2009. I can't stress enough how we should support the sponsors that support our matches. Here's the list of our generous match sponsors so far with a few more I'm working on. Springfield Armory, Firebird, CPWSA, 3 Gun Gear, Shooter's Connection, MGM Targets, 2011 Steel City Tactical Carbine Championship, 2011 Magnolia Classic Match, Precision Delta, Vortex Optics, Timney Triggers, Nordic Components, Mega Machine, Sabre Defence, Cav Arms, Starline, Benchmade, Schuemann barrels, Otis Technology, US Optics, Glock, Nightforce Optics, Stag Arms, Brownells, Sinclari Int'l, Wilson Combat, Caspian Arms, Sierra Bullets, JP Enterprises. Chad Lofton Sponsorship & Prize Coordinator 2010 Mississipp 3-Gun Challenge
  4. I feel that ignoring the front sight on close targets is how to get that one miss on an open, near target. All A's on the target array and that one "no way I missed a target at three feet!" miss.
  5. Sam, I'm glad you're finally applying some of what I taught you. Chad
  6. I thought it was funny and my wife even chuckled. Perhaps Kelly is figuring out what buttons he can push for certain people. I wonder just how focused Bill could be at this point if he was in an elimination with Kelly?
  7. I try and recapture my focus every time I get up to get a beer. I do play the radio most sessions.
  8. You'll go blind....um nevermind....wrong toy. Pics or it doesn't exist.
  9. There's a big difference in having 20 years experience and 1 year of experience 20 times.
  10. Great weather in the forecast and a great warm up for the Birmingham match.
  11. I'm never going to get that Christmas present am I?
  12. HOP, You sure are good at picking match weekends. Your ole buddy Chad
  13. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hop, Don't forget my Christmas gift this time. Chad
  14. Sam, I suggest that you have a couple cans of bright orange paint just in case we're shooting the steel in snow. Chad
  15. See you in a few Sam. Me and one other will be there no matter what type of weather is thrown our way. I'll buy you a beer at the Mexican restaurant after the match.
  16. Sam, Plans made and hotel reserved. I'll see you on Saturday morning and I did convince my buddy in N. Carolina to give it a try. Also, my Christmas gift must of gotten lost in the mail as I haven't received it yet. You can go ahead and get me something else and I'll pick it up at the range. And while you're getting it, go ahead and get yourself something.......something real nice. Chad
  17. I'm going to try my best to make it Sam. Maybe even get my buddy from North Carolina to come down and try his hand at a rifle match. Chad
  18. Sam, About time you did something to improve the looks of our squad. Congratulations ol' buddy. Chad
  19. Forgot to add we've picked up several last minute sponsors that have really rounded out a nice prized table. Chad
  20. Things are really shaping up for a great match. Hopalong is working overtime to get everything squared away and we look forward to seeing everyone next week. Chad
  21. Sorry I forgot the hug and kiss this year. Maybe a little tongue next year will make up for it? Happy birthday John! Thanks for all your hard work and an attitude that doesn't allow the section match to be anything other than exceptional. Chad
  22. We knew the distances at the Arkansas match and it didn't seem to help you very much.
