Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Yeah its been a while since I have been on here and its one of those. Sorry guys. I started shooting 3 gun and some local pistol competitions a little while back. Basically used my duty gear and threw some TACOS onto it. Well, its about that time to upgrade. Im not as young as I used to be and my hips/back keep on reminding me. So, I was planning to upgrade to one of the HSGI padded belts. Oh yeah - why a battle belt? Occasionally I take a class here or there. Heres what I use; Equipment I use; Glock 34 Mossberg 930 JMPRO Saiga 12 Right now,my gear consisits of Safariland ALS holster, TACO 2 mag holder, TACO 2 pistol mag pouch TACO double decker mag pouch Grab 2 (6 shell) shell carrier(dont remember the brand), (2) grab 2 (4 shell) shell carrier AP customs 4x4 shot shell carrier. Leg pouch that holds two m4 mags and 2 pistol mags Im not glued to any equipment and planning to scrap the leg pouch. Id like the ability to be able to switch pouches/equipment without ripping everything apart. If I want to run th Saiga, I rip off the grab 2 and put pouches for the saiga mags or vice versa. Im a skinny guy so I dont have much real estate to deal with (34 waist size and thats why I ran the multiple grab 2's. Maybe the Safariland QLS/ELS system? Anyone running the HSBI belt with the QLS or ELS system? Or did and doesnt recommend it? Pics appreciated...
  2. DAMN! I knew there was something I forgot to order!! UGH! I have a match this weekend...
  3. Yup - Another newbie here... A friend of mine at work who is a avid shooter recommended this site to me and here I am. I started doing 3 gun competitions last year and had a great time. Ive been a gun owner for....hmm...for the last 18 years and none of my weapons never been "last seen" in the safe. Ive always made time to go to the range. Two of my friends actively compete and Im SLOWLY coming around. My purpose here....learn! I want to attend more events but I have two small children that makes it hard going long distances. I also plan on taking some tactical classes. Im also ride sportbikes ON THE TRACK (not street anymore) so it seems that every hobby I find is EXPENSIVE!! Lets see how it goes.. Hey all...
