Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Mine is up for sale If anyone is looking! Witness Elite Match with a Limited Upper and fiber sights, 3 mags, Hennings grips. Trigger Job, Hennings firing (not installed) pin and quiderod. Tarkington . Shaun @ Gmail.com <--- no spaces
  2. I have an elite match lower w/ a limited cone fit barrel upper. Works great. I don't know if a fitting would be needed but it slides perfectly as it is now. I've posted pictures of it here on this site.
  3. uh oh, Sunday will not work. This is a drill weekend. Maybe another weekend.
  4. Can the "force 22lr" from Tanfoglio be had here in the United states. I would really like to have this as a dedicated trainer. I own an Elite Match and believe that the Force 22lr would be the ideal item to complement it. In my various searches, I have heard that you might be able to buy one in Canada. Is it possible to bring one of these over with out significant hassle? Do you are anyone you know have one they might want to sell? I have the 22lr slide for my Match but I suspect it will not work quite as consistently as I would like. Its a pain in the ass to get on and off due to the fact that the barrel flange hole, best term i can think of, that the slide release would slide though is a little off. I can't get the hole to exactly line up with the one on the the lower. I feel like the hole should be longer just like it is on all of my other slides. This is the only one that is not "stretched." Once it is installed, The slide will not consistently cycle even when operated by hand. The force 22lr would also be ideal because the weight of it's polymer frame and aluminum slide would more accurately simulate the recoil I would experience with the steel frame 9mm. The force is also Single action and has similar controls, i.e manual saftey on the lower. It will also lock the slide back after the last round. Lastly, the small frame on the Force 22lr would be useful when my girl friend wants to come along and shoot as well. She has small hands. This is what I am referring to if you haven't heard of one before:
  5. Sounds Like a plan Tom. I look forward to meeting you all. Schultz seems to be the place I here the most about. All of it positive. I use Shorty's for my gun shop and he gives you high praise. I also heard one person say they would never go back to Shooters, Though i did not hear why. Thanks!
  6. Thanks, Will do. I have both the match slide, the limited slide and a 22lr slide. I will let you know how they do. The 22lr slide is a pain in the ass to get on and off and I can see how they might have issues as I had a hard time even getting it too cycle consistently by hand, I hope there is something I can do to make it more usable. I'll clean it up a little and maybe that will do the trick. Hopefully, I'll get to the range this weekend.
  7. Saturday or Sunday? I have a fire fighter test on sat. I will be at the class on June 4th along with the significant other though. Is that a good club?
  8. That's exactly what it is 7mmb. Straight trade for my normal Match upper. They sell something like this in Australia and it's known as the Match LE. It's striking to see in person. I really like it. I can't wait to see how it shoots. Though I suspect I'll have no appreciation for any improvement in accuracy. I haven't been to a range in about 5 years.
  9. Take A Look. Elite Match with a Limited upper I traded for my stock Slide. They sell them in AUS like this under the name Witness Match LE.
