Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. All day long. I carry condition one, during carbine courses and in some 3 gun events. I have bounced off the ground getting into position and have never had an issue.
  2. Wilson 47d is the way to go. Their customer service is unbeatable. I use Blackhawk single stack carriers. I cut them down for a better grip.
  3. I use an 1100 with the ez loader. I tried the load 4 and the hand-guard got in the way. I cut that way back and it was still clumsy. I now use a load two chest rig and I am way quicker than I ever was before. I also had to open the loading port to make it work well.
  4. I use the one that Dean makes. It works great and is super-tough. His username is 45shooter.
  5. I have that same rail on two different uppers, they are awesome! Superlight and the small diameter feels great in the hand. (.....I know how that sounds)
  6. If it is only temporary, paracord around the base of the mag tube will work.
  7. Jerry Misimer: jers.guns@comcast.net Fast and reasonably priced. He just lightened my M&P slide also.
  8. Just a thought, I sometimes ride the slide with my thumbs which causes the slide to slow down dramatically.
  9. You are probably too close to the barricade. You may also be blading your body to the target. Try taking two steps back and keeping your lower body square to the target. That will allow you to lean further to your left while keeping the shooting platform that you use without a barricade.
  10. I have seen no issues with it. One of my uppers is tighter than the other but, switching them back and forth has not made the problem (issue) any worse. There are ways to tighten the fit (accuwedge, adjustable pins, epoxy) I just don't think it is worth the time or effort for a gun that I only really need 2-4MOA from.
  11. All good advice, but that has to be the best! Thanks guys. I don't think it's weird but, most of my non-shooting friends have no idea why I spend hours dry-firing, reloading, cleaning, modifying, practicing. I have brought it up right away in the past but, it does not always get a warm reception. It is hard to change someones mind about something when you have just met them.
  12. I also just switch the bcg, no issues. I will get another bcg eventually.
  13. I have the exact same set-up. I have one upper for 3 gun, and one upper for classes and home defense. The 3 gun upper has a titan comp that classmates do not appreciate as much as I do. The other is a 14.5 with a battlecomp that is much more pleasant.
