Turns out the roller handle is where my squeak was coming from too.

Thanks for the help. Got a chance to check it out some more. The white bellcrank cube had fallen out of the notch on the side of the powder bar. Turns out the binding was from installing the fail safe rod the wrong way, through the small hole first and then the big slot rather than the right way.

I was loading some .38 a few minutes ago. Something started to bind a little appeared to be the powder bar return spring. But couldn't really see anything wrong. Kept on loading things appeared back to normal, then the powder charge bar sprang all the way open and powder started pouring out onto the floor. I looked at the waterfall of gunpoweder for a monment before pushing the charge bar back in. Just finished cleaning up, any ideas guys? This is not the original powder hopper. It's an older one I grabbed off the classifieds.

I don't think it's too clean. I think I didn't tumble it before storage but thought I did.

I think this is probably the answer. Switched to another batch of brass, problem went away.I thought I tumbled it , looked clean . Not new brass once fired.

Loading .45 ACP on a dillon 650. Past two months I've been using winchester once fired brass and assorted range brass to load a few batches of .45. No problems with a sticky powder funnel. Tonight my bag of assorted range brass ran out, switched to a different batch of Winchester once fired brass. Noticed the the down stroke was really difficult due to the brass "sticking" to the powder funnel? Any fix besides switching brass? I realize there's a recent topic on sticking cases but my case seems a little odder.

Thanks for the reply. I had the wrong spring. It was longer, wider, probably stronger. I even managed to install it yesterday, but the press didn't work right. The upside? After wrestling the incorrect spring in there. Installing the right one was a breeze.

Any tips? having trouble installing Station Two Locator Tab and spring. Of course I may be having so much trouble because I have the wrong spring. Why oh why don't the spare parts bags have keys/guides?? Thanks for the help.

Reloading .45 ACP when my press jammed. About 1/2 way through the downstroke. I was able to bring the the handle back to the start position but it would jam at the same point Fiddled with it a little, after pressing down on the Primer disc pin the jamming problem was gone? Want to learn what was going on for it to malfunction?

Thanks I'll try cleaning the contacts. The batteries were a couple of weeks old.

Hi, Noticed the powder check didn't beep when it should have. I took out the battery and put it back in. It's been working without problems since, that was a few weeks ago. it's a new battery. Not the biggest deal since i visually check for powder before I put the bullet in the case. But catching it not working is in the back of my head. What could the problem be/have been? What should I check or clean?

But some places label their green gas hfc-22? :confused: I'm just going to shoot and be sure to air out the place and not let fumes build up.

Thanks for the info on the Evike gas, Kevin. I just picked up a WE/Socom Gear 1911. I was planning on using it in the garage. Until I found out a lot of green gas is propane. Hmm that plus water heater, furnace, and reloading stuff didn't sound like a good combo. Google search led me here I didn't even realize benos.com had an airsoft section! hmm looks like hfc22 might just be another name for propane??
