  1. Thanks to Mark and all the rest of the staff for the match. Also big thanks to all of the sponsors that help make it possible. I went to this match last year for the first time and said I'd be back. This year did not disappoint. Great weather on Saturday despite the nasty forecast. Very well run match with great stages. The cage stage got me good as I'm sure it did many others.
  2. What is everyone doing for a sling? I read this entire thread before I ordered my M3000 from MOA a couple months ago and seem to remember some talk about slings but can't find it now. Are ya'll using the factory sling mount on the stock? What about the front? I have the Nordic barrel clamp and was thinking of attaching a swivel stud to it, but just looking for some more options.
  3. Steve, I think next year you should keep 5 spots open and put up for auction. Let's see which 5 people REALLY want in. Extra money to the match and it could be a record thing where every year we wait to see what the highest price paid for a slot was.
  4. Mine and another were delivered via ups to your house at 1:07 pm today.
  5. 2014 Gator Classic was a great match as always. Thanks to everyone who makes this such an awesome match. Can't wait for next year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3uwyeFZdXc&list=UUPi5ttfvK9LPWGY-zYrXaOw
  6. What a great match. Very well run. It was great to see so many local Louisiana shooters there. I hope to make it back next year. I would have liked to shoot a little better but had a blast anyway. Great weather and a great squad make it easy to have a good time. Thanks to all of the staff and everyone who helped to make the match happen. Spanky, your stage was one of the most fun and well run stages. Good job! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWgPnu1XNPA&list=UUPi5ttfvK9LPWGY-zYrXaOw
  7. What an awesome match! Fun stages, great staff and perfect weather (on saturday at least). This was my first Alabama Sectional and I will be back. Thanks to all of the match staff, sponsors and everyone else who made the match happen.
  8. Last weekend I had a mag release spring break on the first stage of a match. Mag falls out after every shot. Very frustrating. It was basically the only part that I didn't have in my bag. I now have a couple of them.
  9. I run ISMI flat wire springs on a tungsten guide rod. Works perfect.
  10. I called HQ the other day and the second person that I talked to actually put me on hold for about 5 minutes to verify that. She came back and said they would still be using the sept. 10th cut off day for classifiers submitted. She believed that if you actually shot the nationals then your percentage there may be used but no classifiers submitted after the 10th.
  11. Not sure why you quoted my post for your motorhome joke because as I state above, I couldn't care less about class wins at a match. If i did I would be happy about the update not happening. I shoot every match, local or major, for the division win and compare myself to the division winner. I want my bump because the classification system is there and I've enjoyed progressing up it.
  12. I was just informed that the update that they run on sept 30th after back to back nationals will still use the cut off date of sept 10 for classifiers being submitted. This alleviates my concern of shooting a low classifier in the next couple weeks and it affecting my bump. I still think its crazy that the update requires the manpower that it does but I'm better now.
  13. I don't care about sandbagging to win my class at a major. I want my class bump that I've worked hard for. That being said if I shoot a major before the next update and win A class because i didn't get my bump it is not fair to the others in A class. Doesn't matter because I'm sure I will tank a classifier or two just enough to hurt me before the next update and not get the bump then.
  14. Sorry but just because its been done in the past doesn't make it ok for me. It's still BS.
  15. Just found out about this and don't mind saying that I'm pissed. I've been within half of a percent of making master for 5 months and finally have the classifier scores to make it with this update. Now they aren't doing an update.
  16. I have ordered from them many times and had problems with items not being in stock. Always got my item but I like to know if an item is in stock or not at the time I place an order.
  17. I shoot bayou 135's with titegroup out of a Glock 34. I do not notice any smoke at all when shooting. When I watch my videos I notice the smoke but it has never been an issue while shooting.
  18. I have been using Donnie's bullets for a while now. I am local to Donnie and pick my bullets up in person. I received some of the very first run of the new coating to test before he started selling them. I've seen no noticeable difference in the bullets performance. I've only run a single 10 shot string through the chrono and saw 4fps slower than the previous chrono session with the old coating. Way too small to say the new coating was a factor. All in all I like the new coating. My understanding is that it will greatly improve his availability and that was the reason for the change.
  19. I would pull a few and verify that there is 5 gr of bullseye in there. What load have you shot in the 26 recently that it working fine with? I think the load described is hotter than most factory ammo.
  20. That's what I was getting at. With the load data given it should cycle the slide. I don't use bullseye but I have a friend that does at it seems very similar to titegroup. My 26 with a brand new factory weight recoil spring cycles fine with 3.2 grains of titegroup and a 135 grain bullet. I think there's something else going on. I would try the in another 9mm if possible.
  21. Why not just put a lighter recoil spring in it. Would it not work with you or her shooting. That load does not look that light. I've shot my minor loads. 3.2 gr of titegroup behind a 135 gr in my 26 with a stock weight spring an it works fine suprisingly.
  22. I run a bayou bullet 135 with 3.2 gr of titegroup out of my 34. Makes a very consistent 130pf. I use an 11lb spring and it shoots pretty soft.
