  1. I run the S3G trigger too and with a little tweaking it's very nice, probably the best I've used to date. I've tried triggers from JP, McCormick, pact, Jewell, timney and A couple others and the new S3G is as good or better than all of them. And super easy to install with a great feel without adjustment. I have a pact AR gold that feels really nice but the pre travel is terrible. As soon as I can get the S3G trigger pull to around 1.5 pounds I'll be very happy
  2. Glad everybody had a good time, great to see new shooters out to get a taste of 3-Gun. Once we get the 2011 schedule done we'll be sure to post it on enos. Too bad the mover broke prior to the match, that was going to be a fun addition - maybe next year we can get it working more reliably. See ya at ACC later this month!
  3. Hey Jon, thanks for posting an announcement about the match. It's the last one of the season and is sure to be a fun one (for some people)

    New Job!

    Congrats! Welcome to the Team
  5. I have paid no less than $400 for a plain Limited gun build with parts fit and the gun functioned 100%. Ended up paying another $300 to have the gun finished the way I wanted it but it was cheap as the gun still runs 100%.
  6. Glad to see some new forum members... Welcome!
  7. Welcome to the forum! I'm sure I'll see ya around...
  8. The caddies that Mark Otto makes are the best. He has contact info on triangle shooting sports webpage.
  9. The class was excellent... We fired lots of rifle rounds down range on several drills Saturday and on Sunday we mixed in some handgun and shotgun and then shot several stages. I'm looking forward to the next class with Daniel.
  10. I recently took a class with Daniel Horner in Illinois... It was a great class and I would highly recommend his professional instruction to focus on the skills we need for 3-Gun competition. There will be another class near Decatur in 2011 with Daniel.
  11. Gee, I may have to try some cheap ammo in the near future... I'm getting sick of loading ammo and my case of MGB 55's is still sitting there waiting for me to work up a load. Gone through a bunch of SMK69's though Almost got 500 loaded up for a class with Daniel Horner this weekend... Should be loads of fun
  12. Single stage with a little creep and a sharp break is what I like. great for hosing but still a little take up for those long shots.
  13. welcome to the forum! we'll see you at wildcat for our halloween match
  14. Yeah the RV will ROCK! I'm glad my rifle decided to work again after the battle on our first stage...
  15. Agree, Dog Days is lots of fun and good food... Shorty pants sounds like a place that might be worth visiting if it's warm outside Is Dock Knockers still around?
  16. Were Daniel and Tyler sporting the new swaro scopes? Thought they used Short dots but can't tell in the pics... And congrats to Daniel, Bruce and David!
  17. I just picked up some 77 SMK's from Graf & Sons... A little better than the sale price @ Midwayusa if you can find a dealer...
  18. This is what I've been looking for locally... A good reason to buy a long range rifle
  19. I too use the Hardigg fieldpack and IM3300... Great soft case except the shoulder strap is useless and no backpack straps.
  20. Is this their new version with the backpack straps?? The cases they had at BRM3G were really nice but they said version 2 would have backpack straps.
  21. I too have recently used a bunch of Scharch .223 bras with great results. I run it all through my Giraud trimmer to chamfer. Only issue I have is that I get a little ring around the bullet nose, no idea why but I assume the neck tension is a bit tight...?
  22. Welcome to the forum! Lots of great info here and it can be very addictive
  23. I'd like to try to ttend this match... Need a little practice before the Ozark 3-Gun match
