  1. I'm trying to understand the posted results. I see a lot of zero scores, but they have A,B,C... counts, but no time.
  2. Which CZ spring kits are you using? I see 10 and 13 coil. Thanks
  3. One additional request / question, is anyone loading Montana Golds, and if so, which ones? TIA.
  4. Thanks for all the great info thus far. I just got a 929 this past weekend, so trying to figure out where to start for reloading. I've loaded many loads for 9mm auto, fwiw.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

The gun is very tight in the hand, maybe too tight. Looking at the pics, I'm higher up on the gun then you. My thumb is coming to rest on the very top of the safety, not the safety ledge, the very top of the safety. As for being more around the right side of the gun, perhaps that is the case. However, I'm just about reaching the trigger in DA mode, so I'd be unable to wrap around any further to the left. I do appreciate your efforts, but I'm thinking now that perhaps it's just not for me. ~thanks.

Its definitely the corner of the beaver tail. I can feel it diggering in just gripping the gun. I'll try to get a couple pics.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

Yes, it's the corner of the beaver tail that is digging into me. I shoot the very common (for "us") thumbs forward grip, getting as high on the gun as possible. With a 1911, I ride the grip safety, however on the CZ my thumbs are too short to reach the thumb safety (my thumb IS positioned such that if it were longer, I'd be riding it).
  8. I'm strongly considering selling my Shadow 2 as well. Thought I'd be the first on the buy / sell.
  9. Is this them? https://patriotdefense.com/ Thanks.

Is this question to me? I'm running the factory grips that came on the gun.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

See my post on the previous page. Some dry firing and 200 rounds down range and I was bleeding. Grabbing the gun high, and the corner really dug into me. I let a friend of mine put a few rounds through it, and he felt that "corner" digging into him as well, but with only a few rounds he didn't handle it enough to draw blood. Don't think I can shoot a gun that causes me such discomfort. I find it odd that I'm the only one reporting this, as I'd think most of USPSA shooters like to grab our guns very high and tight.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

So, I saw a Shadow 2 at a local shop. I messed around with it quite a bit, and just happened to notice that the corner in the beaver tail area was a little uncomfortable in my hand. Still, the impulse buy won out, and it came home with me. At my very first range outing, it gave me quite a blister. Am I the only one this is happening to? I got a chance to hold a Stock 2, and it felt more comfortable in my hand. I guess I'm going to have to go that route, cause this isn't going to be fun for me to shoot at all.

I'm sure I'll no longer be around then.

    Shadow 2 Legal Date

Thanks for the info. On the Shadow 1, I can just about touch the safety, but not enough to disengage it. I prefer a large single sided safety on my 1911s, so it sounds like the optional safety on the Shadow 2 may be just the ticket. I'd have to assume since it comes with the gun, that it would be legal to use once the gun is approved for production, being a factory part.
  16. I shot a P30L for about a year in Production. Mine is a standard DA/SA in 9mm. I found the gun to be noticeably more accurate than my G34. Great gun, would be better if they went for a full 5" in their "L" model.
  17. Nice write up. Thanks.

    Shadow 2 Legal Date

For anyone who has one, is the safety easier to reach than the Shadow? I heard the trigger reach was better, but was wondering about the safety. I just miss the safety on the Shadow with my short thumbs.TIA
  19. Having escaped from NJ myself, I understand the move part. Unfortunately, too many are unable. But if we're so against mag restrictions, why have any? Let people round their 33 rd Magazines.
