Can't seem to find any IPSC only matches, run to IPSC rules in the US. Does anyone know of a club that runs that?

Well then it's not an IDPA match. So it should be called Uncle Bob's action pistol match that knocks off the IDPA using "some" of their rules. Unless the club is listed on the IDPA website, it's not an IDPA club! So don't call it an IDPA match! IDPA depends on membership dues and club listing dues.

Yes, I know that, but unless you loaded to Major 9 in a G17L, you would be at a disadvantage. And Major 9 Glocks don't live near as long as STI's.

USPSA does not limit holster position for Open, Limited or L10. So an appendix holster may be used, however it is subject to approval by the match director.

Has to be more to it than just Max (and Lena and Daniel) shooting for them. I wouldn't expect Glock to be at 30% just because they could shoot for them, or S&W. The SIG must have some distinct advantage in CO that the other guns don't. But then if that is true, why wasn't it reflected in Production, where SIG only had 8% and CZ shows 48%.

That SIGs are 30% in CO.

Mechanical accuracy in a Glock is based on the barrel to slide fit. Tighter is usually better. Just be sure to lube the barrel hood.

I just have a $12 reading light mounted on my old 550. That's 4.7 gr of BE-86

My decades old method is to run in walnut with a couple of teaspoons of mineral oil and then in corn with a couple of teaspoons of NuFinish car polish. Runs open top with no dust and is clean, shiny and slippery, ready to load, no lube needed.

I would also measure a few dozen bullet diameters to be sure. If there is not enough neck tension (interference fit between the bullet OD and the case ID) it can setback. More crimp will only increase the setback, not prevent it.

All semi auto pistols have some unsupported chamber, properly called the barrel ramp, otherwise they wouldn't function. And it did not fire out of battery as evidenced by the center primer strike. Also try to get a Glock to fire out of battery with a snap cap, won't do it. The most common cause of case rupture is using brass fired from an Open gun. Did your brass (not from a Glock) look like this before loading?
