  1. I've Glocking since 92, and never heard of this trick. https://www.glockforum.com/threads/tipton-snapcaps.58927/#post-1784771 post #20
  2. As long as it fits the box.
  3. Did you plunk test the ammo first?
  4. Plates are not calibrated for USPSA, only poppers, at 115 PF.
  5. Yes, easily. That's why you look in the case, especially on a 550. Not on a Square Deal though, because the index pawl is already advanced before the powder drop contact. That's why I run BE-86 on the 550 and TG on the SD.
  6. Just push the tip back in when the slide is locked back.
  7. For a Gen 3, use the OEM G21 mag button, which it came with.
  8. Stepped case. IMT, Freedom Munitions, AmmoLoad, and MaxxTech. look at pic 4, you can see the ledge. Complete junk. Case rupture or KaBoom waiting to happen, especially in a PCC.
  9. Hell Yea! Lots of clubs. My wife's blood cousin is the club director. Shot there many times. https://www.pscshootingclub.com/
  10. Well, they are a few that do, but I think BarSto is the best.
  11. Lots of clubs. check USPSA and the IDPA websites for clubs. My wife's cousin runs this club https://www.pscshootingclub.com/
  12. What bullet diameter and what brass? The dies didn't change.. I've got well over 400K on my 550.
  13. Yes, except the G17L and the G24...
  14. Did your rounds plunk test ok in that gun?
  15. If you are shooting local matches, then it really doesn't matter.
  16. Sight radius for competition? IDPA/USPSA, the average shot is between 3 and 12 yards. No real difference. And if you run Carry Optics, it's target focused, it has nothing to do with sight radius.
  17. The G19 is not a choice for competition. A G17/G34 is your fist best choice for USPSA/IDPA/Steel Challenge and 3 gun
  18. If you have never shot an IDPA match before, let alone any competition, then an aftermarket trigger or sights will make no difference. What you need is the fundamentals: stance, grip, sight picture and trigger control. Any, and all Glock models, are legal for SSP in IDPA.
  19. If you try to put a Gen 3, or earlier slide, on a G19 Gen 3, or earlier, it will lock up the gun. Aftermarket barrels have a different lockup
  20. dsk, Gen 3 and earlier doesn't work. Don't know about Gen4/5 because I have no Glocks newer than 1996...
  21. You can't put a G17/G34 upper on a G19. Totally different lock up. Here's why. G17 left, G19 right. Doesn't work, not even close.
  22. IPSC was 1975, Steel Challenge was 1981, USPSA was 1985, but IDPA was not until 1998.....
