Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hello, I am new to the forum just saying hello. Getting back into shooting, I have completed the practical shooting saftey check and looking forward to going to an uspsa event. Also bought a dillon 550b to reload 9mm ammo. Thanks rich
  2. Just getting ready to load up some rounds on the new dillon 550b. I am refering to data of the hodgdon web site. Looking for feed back to make sure I am doing it correctly. here is the load i am attempting to do. 125 gr lead rn (sns castings) win 231 powder 3.9 grains cci primers starline brass oal 1.125 (this is for a 125 gr lcn bullet will this be close for the rn bullet Is this a safe load for target practice thanks Rich
  3. Thanks for the info. I'am leaning towards trying s@s cast lead bullets 125 gr rn, cci primers, power pisol powder or aa#7 and cleaned range brass. If anyone has a better combination it will be greatly appriciated
  4. I am located in upstate NY. learned that the lee 2nd edition has some load data for 125gr lead rn. will look into buying this handbook next. as for the type of powder to be used it is still up in the air. ( power pistol, bullseye, unique ect.) something cheap that works well with lead. reload with consistency an cofidence. lead bullets i have found on reloadammo.com many choices ase far as manufactures thanks rich
  5. we shoot in an indoor range that only allows lead bullets only. It is very hard to get lead bullets. local not a chance, the internet is possible if you catch the right time the backorder comes in (midway). Brand of ammo is ultramax 125gr lead rn for practice. I have a beretta 92f that seems to shot the ammo o.k. If you dont have a stock pile of ammo your s.o.l. purchased a dillon 550b to reload ammo. lead 125gr rn for the indoor range. Did some research for bullet manufactures and all of them have 125 gr lead rn to reload. but need a handbook that has the info i need. hope i didnt waste the money on the reloading press. thanks for the replys
  6. I have not purchased any powder ,primmers,or bullets yet. I am hoping to find some solid data to start with. My handbook has 90gr,120gr lrn and 120 swc and 147 gr in lead.the rest are fmj, tmj, jhp
  7. just purchased new reloading equipment to reload 9mm for now. I would like to load 125gr lead rn. my reloading handbook lyman 49 th ed. does not have data for 125 gr bullets only 120gr 147gr 90 gr. Is there a hand book out there that has this data. it seems like all the bullets you are able to buy are different grains then specified in the manual. It seems foolish to spend 20-30 dollars on another manual if it doesnt have the data to start with
