I talked to KKM this morning and they said that they are not taking anymore orders for M&P barrels until they get caught up with current orders. Until they get caught up, they removed the M&P barrel options from their website. They expect to be back in production with M&P barrels around June-July time frame. Ken

Latest HANDGUNS magazine said S&W is changing from a 1:18.75 twist to a 1:10 twist in thier M&P pistols. (Twist and Shout by Dick Metcalf Feb/March 2013). Kendall

The same was happening to mee too. I switched from a center of mass to a 6 o'clock hold and that helped b bunch. Kendall

Have chamber reamed to load long (up to 1.2"). Tungsten guide rod. It's not as front heavy as an Edge but close. (I own both). Ken

Nothing wrong with Para. If you can try to get a Pre-PXT one. (Older than 2003). When I first started out in this sport that's all I could afford. Over time, I broke a barrel bushing. That was easy to replace. It holds more bullets than my S_I. Kendall

Depends on which gun/division i'm shooting. For open & limited I use a Ghost Holster. For production I use a Blade-Tech DOH. For limited 10 I have a older Safariland race holster. Kendall

I voted other, I bought it used so I don't know who was the original builder was. But, it was rebuilt by All Custom Firearms in Sierra Vista (Mike Chudomelka) which sadly is no longer open/in business. Kendall

Yup, primers are starting to show up here in Tucson. 35/K ,2K limit but at least they are starting to show up. I didn't ask how long ago they ordered. Could be that supply is starting to catch up with demand. Kendall

I have been with USAA for over 30 years and they have always been a pleasure to deal with. Hell, after the Northridge earthquake in 94 they called me everyday wanting a list of damaged goods. I have delt with them after several car breakins when I moved to Arizona. Unless something has changed receintly, You should be OK. Kendall

Apparently it was all a "big misunderstanding", as long as the brass is not exported, shells under .50 cal can still be sold for reloading without being destroyed. Kendall

Nemo, Not too much night shooting on a regular basis here in Tucson. Sometimes Pima Pistol Club will have night shoots but mostly diring the summer months when the Wx is better. Marksman's Institute has 2 indoor ranges that are open in the evening. Most of the IPSC/IDPA clubs shoot outside on the weekends. On the 3rd Sunday, PPC has an IPSC match at 0800. Tucson Rifle Club at Three Points has a IPSC match on the 2nd Sunday. There might be a IDPA match on Saturday at Pima Pistol. Tuesday evening steel at Rio Salado up in Phoenix is worth doing if you have the time/transportation. PM me if you want more info. Kendall

I think any liquid car polish would work. I use Turtle Wax from WallyWorld. 3 bucks and change for a good size bottle. Ken
