Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. take a look at "Pivot head" Waktasz on the forum can get you a discount.
  2. On that Classifier what would you do to shave time?
  3. Have him give me a call. Maybe we can double team this and come up with something that will work for both clubs. Cross training people would benefit us all. I've already got a couple NST's that I've been experimenting with. Sure thing. We are shooting this Sat.
  4. Hi Rob... That was my hope earlier this year, but after seeing some of the stuff I've seen this year doing scores... It just makes me wonder... Of course, as you know, it has not been my best year to date... Have you guys talked about using them at Eastern Shore? Yes, Kenny is ready to do something so he doesn't have to spend so much time after the match. We talked about Palms first, but I think it's going to be nooks and practiscore.
  5. I think it would help alleviate a lot of the issues you are talking about. It is harder to screw up the scoring and there is no need to total. I have ran palms (they are a bit slow) at level 1,2, and 3 and I would say I can score just as fast and everyone can read it.
  6. I smelled some at the match on Sat. and craved it, but I will not do it again, it is just too hard to quit. I only did it for seven years but it was still hard to stop. Good job and good luck.
  7. So do you think it would have been better for Max to be classified "M" at that match?
  8. If a solid "B" shooter happens to hit a no shoot on a classifier he/she will be around 35%. That would make the issue worse because now a solid "B" shooter could go to a Level 2 or 3 and shoot for top "D".
  9. Anyone that thinks we should eliminate classifications needs to think about this. Let's you lose to a sandbagger (you're a 59.99% C and he/she beats you buy 15 spots and finishes 71%), maybe you feel cheated. If you get rid of the classification system, in that same match that person would still beat you by 15 spots and 11.01%. What's the point? Practice & get better or don't, but have fun and enjoy yourself.
  10. This is the way I undestand that it is. With the exception there has to be 3 GMs to get bumped. What if only 1 GM was shooting that division, and they had two really bad stages and you shot the match clean. Should you get bumped?
  11. I have a PT1911 and if I had to do it again it would be a used SA or Kimber
  12. I will start by saying that the 550 is the only progressive that I have used, so take it for what it is. I loaded for about 4 years on RCBS and Lee single stage prior to the 550. I load about 8-10k per year, I Love the 550 and would buy it again. In you case I would say 550 over SDB because you can use most of your dies.
  13. I just ordered enough for this year and got them $2 cheaper then last year
