Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. "The only time I saw the pro's using KKM was at the Bianchi Cup where they have 50 yard targets.. " and those were most likely not "drop in" but fitted. I have a drop in KKM for my 34 and the only time I can see any difference is braced off bags at 25 yards, otherwise match fees and ammo are more productive.
  2. The AR15 does not have a Garand type trigger and it is not a two stage trigger. It is a single stage trigger. It just gave me pause for a company making triggers to so misinformed in the first place. Bill
  3. Went to the Gold web site and saw this: "The Garand type trigger in the AR was never designed to be light and crisp, quite the opposite. The AR trigger is designed to provide a mass producible, heavy (safe), military two stage trigger. " This is NEWS to me as NONE of my AR's came with Garand triggers or two stage triggers. Doesn't inspire confidence. Bill
  4. I just went to Leupold's site and the 1x4x20 VII is really a 1.6x4.2x scope. Clearly the 1x4x is silly. BTW, their 1.5x5x is really a 1.5x4.5x LOL. Bill
  5. For the life of me, your line: "Try a search here...there is plenty negative said about the Power Speed! " doesn't have a hot spot to click to. Bill
  6. I just bought, or ordered, a RS Speed holster for my G24. Tell me how much I am gonna love it and what a wonderful seletion I made. I am new to Glock in IPSC so this is going to be groovy, isn't it? I also ordered 4 DF mags and the Taylor Freelance +5 bottoms and the Novack +1 followers, that in it self is a lot of pluses! Bill Tupperware, it's what the dinners in tonight
  7. It was one of the older S&W stainless steel double stack 9mm's. It looked like total BS to me, but he is an IPSC RO (or about to be ((or maybe he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express that night?)) and he was one of the guys running the stage, so "who am I to blow against the wind?" I just stayed "down wind." There was also another guy in our squad that had all the NRA Range Officer costume on and I think at some point he mentioned that he had an IDPA rule book but nothing came of it. You could get an eye put out doing silly shit like that. Bill
  8. I shot in an IDPA math the other day and one of the guys was shooting a S&W 9mm 5900 series DA/SA pistol. He started with the gun in the holster with the hammer back in the cocked pisition and since there is no avaliable safety in that position, it was "really" ready to go. After 10 years of IPSC shooting this looked like a huge load of BS. As I am not an IDPA member and don't have a rule book, I just stayed clear when needed, but I gotta know WTF was going on, is this OK? Bill
  9. Trippy looking upper. Who's barrel is in there? Is it chrome lined? Bill
