Guys,
I have a Springfield P9 World Cup in 9x21. Has a squared trigger housing, single action trigger, drilled and tapped mount holes, Bomars, and a bushing in the slide.
Not too long after I bought the pistol, I picked up a 6" long Briley barrel for in in 9x19. Never got installed. Looking at doing that now.
Barrel diameter is 0.560" and will need to be reduced to fit the existing bushing ... unless I can locate another bushing.
Barrel also is going to require some fitting at the structure on each side of the lug on the bottom ... 45 degree cuts so that the barrel will fit into the slide.
Anyone have some hints for me on how to do the barrel fitting and where I might get another bushing?
Is a nice pistol that I'd like to be able to use with both 9x19 and 9x21. Sure would appreciate the help!!! Thanks.
BTW: I do have a full sized mill with 3 axis DRO available and the means to hold it properly.
