Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use a lot of oil (brownells friction defense). Probably 3-5 drops in each of the rails.

    OKO sights

I have an OKO on my open gun. My first one died after 6 years and around 50k rounds. The dot just started to shut off randomly. I had another one kicking around so I slapped it on. Has been working fine since. Other than the dot shutting off, no problems.
  3. I'm working up some loads for 147g plated bullets with a charge of 3.6 of Bullseye. Not a powder you had listed but figured it couldn't hurt to list it.
  4. I shoot in my local steel challenge matches. It's a very humbling experience for me. I usually shoot USPSA and win my local matches, or place very close to the top. At the steel challenge matches the rim fire guys kick my ass. Granted they don't have to draw and I do with my usual USPSA rig, bit there is lots of room for improvement.
  5. I took a break for five years, I feel your pain! It's taken me a couple of months to get back to where I was!
  6. I loaded up some 9mm with 3.6g of bullseye behind a 147g. I've been meaning to work up some 40 loads withe bullseye behind a 220g. I'm sure I can make some nice soft loads. I remember I did some behind a 200g bullet in 10mm and it was soft as can be.
  7. I run 10.0g of #7 behind a 124g MG JHP. I've never chronod it but I think it's just into major. Pretty flat. Bit dirty.
  8. I use a Universal Shooting Academy holster on a cr-speed versahanger. I don't think they make it any more, and I have only ever seen one other person using one.
  9. I use safari land pouches. They stay put and have lasted a long time (6+ years).
  10. I set up the square deal to load up some 9mm tonight. I got about 30 in and this happened. I figured of all the things to break on the press that would be the last. Looking at where it broke it looks like there was a bubble in the casting. After loading ~100k rounds with that little press it just developed a stress crack. I'll give Dillon a call Monday. Hopefully the "lifetime no bs warranty" covers it.
  11. I've had my western arms infinity for a while now. I put a ton of rounds through it until it broke. It seems like a very minor problem. I just need an o-ring and a spring for the valve inside the slide, but I can't find anywhere that sells replacement parts. Can anyone help me out with a place?
