I sent my 24 to Tyro for fulcrum adjustment. It came back a clean and crisp 2.5lbs.
I dry fired it a couple hundred times -memorized its feel and had a excellent first match with it.
It is a great service that they offer.
17 inches of snow May 2nd in Minnesota-- WTF !!
I have shot two matches since November 2012 -- Double WTF -- sad face
If I see Al Gore he is due a pummeling...
Get a lone wolf 40-9 barrel and use G19 mags and that is all you should have to do... may need a 11-13 pound recoil spring to let the heavier 40 slide work better... mine works great..
Breath deep
The gathering gloom
Watch lights fade
From every room
Bedsitter people
Look back and lament
Another day's useless
Energy spent
Empassioned lovers
Wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love
And has none
New mother picks up
And suckles her son
Senior citizens
Wish they were young
Cold hearted orb
That rules the night
Removes the colours
From our sight
Red is gray and
Yellow white
But we decide
Which is right
And
Which is an Illusion
I AGREE-- I even have 2"x4" boards under my loading bench to act like blocking barriers so I can find them... with the cost and availability I am picking everyone up from now on....
A hot shower is my therapist. Seems like everyone I know is in counseling or has been prescribed something.... my prescription is a hot ass shower -sets me straight everytime.....maybe singing a song or two...
I like both of these alot-
Dawson Adjustable - only draw back uses a high front sight that might not work in all holsters
Ameriglo Hackthorns- have two sets of these and I am a big fan
I was on my way to a master class performance and got the dreaded double feed... followed by an upside down insertion... have to keep dry stacking... practicing with all the dead primers I have in my garbage can... practice makes perfect.
This past weekend I watched a shooter have a stove pipe with a 45 ACP where the case was standing perfectly straight up blocking his entire sight picture. It was amazing to watch him to continue to pull the trigger when he could not even see the sights. Pretty amazing what the mind will do under duress. He eventually cleared it about 3 seconds later... not a rookie either...
I had a trigger done on a X5 Allaround that can be described as like butter... These X5's had some difficult extraction issues. Bruce bent over backwards to get my gun running properly. He hand wrote me a two page letter educating me on what was going on with it and what he had done to reduce the capers with it... he earned my respect.
