  1. With the development of the area 419 and similar auto tricklers paired with the fx scale i no longer see a reason to pay for a Prometheus
  2. you've listed about the only positives in my mind, most of the new stocks and chassis have fantastic lockups so the stability is good to go but usually it adds weight to the system.
  3. i have several friends that brings their HMRs out to shoot with us and I've been nothing but impressed with them, i think the smartest think bergara did with the rifle was keep the barrel somewhat small to reduce weight making it a manageable hunting gun if someone wants to use it for such.
  4. I have switched all my rifles over to APA micro bastards for small frames and little bastard larger calibers
  5. But the erector is built front the bottom of the flat part of the scope, plumbing the reticle doesn’t always mean it will track square with the adjustments. Squaring the bottom of the base is the best way to ensure proper elevation adjustments.
  6. I mount all my scopes with feeler gauges on the bottom flat of the scope

Tab, armageddon, or TIS.... all great options
  8. I have a RRS head on my current setup however there are so many cheaper options that are hitting the market thats working well that i would keep an open mind.
  9. i run a 100yd zero, mainly just used to it from precision rifle. I run a straight mil reticle with no BDC so it just works well for what I'm used too
  10. anything armageddon gear and tab that shoots your shooting style will suit you well
  11. It's hard to beat an AI
  12. You'll dig the kkm, mine has been a hammer
  13. Shooter and geo ballistics
  14. A solid rear bag is all you need for a solid prone position. A lot of times in prs less is more and simplicity lends itself to more efficient shooting

    cz75 options

can any model cz75 be customized comparable to a shadow or spo1 style and options?
  16. Yes loader was still set from the original bullets, I'm going to give it a go again tomorrow. I'm still not ruling out a mind trick, kinda like "u always shoot better with a new gun thing". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I think at the last gap grind I was around 22-2300ish rds on my barrel, I was having no problem on long targets. However on the small 100yds dots it started throwin some shots, it was actually from carbon build up on my brake we found out after the fact. I went ahead and let George take it back with him for a new tube. Note to self......keep brake carbon chipped off.
  18. I have been shooting 165 BBI bullets for while now and love them, I recently had to buy another batch and this was my first time getting the new coating. With the same load I am shooting a higher POI with the new bullets, I have checked this back and forth with my old stock and always had the same result. Grouping is great as always just the POI change. It doesn't bother me ill just adjust but has anyone else found this common? The shift isn't huge but it is enough to shoot 2 noticeable groups with the different coatings. Or could this just be metal block from not wanting to change!
  19. Bartlein will make u what u want! Trace knows what he's doing when it come to makin an awesome barrel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I think for the PRS style matches you are wanting to shoot the 6cm is the best choice out right now. Over the past few prs seasons I have over from the 6.5's to the 6cm. I'm now in my 3rd 6creedmoor barrel and have more ready to go so I'm not changing calibers anytime soon. Im getting 2500ish rounds on a barrel before changing them and they were still shooting good but slowing down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. i shoot on the PRS, they're a few matches that I wouldn't be scared to run my gap10 in but I never choose to run it over my bolt guns. Take for example at K&M last year, we shot in that rain for 2 days. That fine sand and mud got in everything and gave gas gun fits. Don't get me wrong bolt guns went down too but not as much as the gasser. My gap10 in 6.5cm is a flat hammer but ill still never use it over my 6mm creedmoor bolt rifles. The PRS is about accuracy and speed in most cases however the precision needed to make a lot of the shots the difference in a bolt gun and gas gun isn't a factor. When we shot the finale last year which was the top 50 in points for the year, I don't remember seeing many is any gas guns in the mix.
  22. no comparison to the above but I use a 35 in comps and carry a 23
