Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I got a pet scan on monday, & I might be lookin at takeing some more radiation or chemo if there's any signs left. As allway's I'll keep everyone up to date on the situation. Other than that I'm trying to come up with the money for this upper http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-SS410-18-Rifle-Length-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/bcm-urg-18%20ss410%20vtrx13.htm
  2. Just wraped up my 10th cycle today. I might have a scan on the 4th & I should know what the game plan is from there. Im goin to go crazy if I have to weight another year & a half so I can get back to work. After I get everything I need for multigun matches... I'd love to lay away a Kimber 8400 tactical with a Leupold Mk4 sort of a nice pressant for goin through everything I've been through. I just placed a order for some Safariland ELS kits, safariland ar15 mag pouch, shotshell caddies, & my first Panteao dvd. All I need now are some 4 Arredondo extended magazine base pads for my m&p, 2 17 round mags for my m&p, 1 safariland 082 shell caddy or a 9 round shotshell caddy for my forearm & what not & im set.
  3. Radiation's just about done, I got the rest of this week. The only bad thing about my current situation is I have to take it easy, because something as simple as a fall... might cause me to break a bone which sucks. Hopefully I'll get the ok to shoot in the IDPA Indoor nationals. If anyone has the Practical Rifle w/Jerry Miculek dvd... I could really use that to help me to get some idea's on how I might want to set up my ar15 upper Im building
  4. thanks anachronism. first one's down... 9 more to go. I even got a laugh from the secratary that sits behind the double doors. I said & I quote, "Struting by, see something you like speak up".
  5. Well, I got some good news & some bad news. Bad news is I have a few leasions on both hips, that is why my hips were really killing me. so now on to the good news, I have to go through 10 more radiation treatments to take care of that problem.
  6. sorry to hear, when my mom had our dog put to sleep, the animal hospital cliped a pice of his fur off & gave us a copy of the rainbow bridge poem. to this day I cant finish reading it.
  7. I'd be up for a regular match. As long as my hip pain dosnt get to be to bad...
  8. If anyone has some used uspsa related gear that your not useing or want to donate, like a Safariland Model 032 ELS Competition Belt for a 40" waist, kydex ar15 mag pouches. I would appreciate it. & if anyone wants to add me as a friend on facebook, feel free, https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.122325543186.101393.562588186&type=3#!/profile.php?id=562588186
  9. I hope to make it to the next one. what is the tipical round count
  10. Got pneumonia again, which meens, a few days in the hospital. But Im still hanging in there, down to my last patment on my Mossberg 930 SPX Blackwater series, which is nice. Still aways from geting every thing for multigun matches
  11. try altama boots. I have had nothing but good luck with Altama
  12. Its still alittle hard for me to get the funding for what I think I need for multigun matches. I haven't been able to work for a year & I only get to use $ 200 a month to use to get something like a new upper for my ar15, buying trijicon optics or buying another M&P 9mm to set up under limited rules just for multi gun. If theres one thing that I want to do, its to get my ok from my doctors to get back to work
  13. Great news. down to 4 treatments. but the 4 month recovery time is for the birds. I figure sence I only worked for 4 hours I should be able to just pick up were I left off. Plus I was able to lay away a Mossberg 930 SPX Blackwater series, after asking one of the docs if it was ok for me to return to shooting my ar even with a power port in my left chest... right near my collor bone & she said its ok, so once I get all the gear I need I'll be able to try Multigun comps. Kind of have my sight set on tac optics
  14. I've had mine for 3 years & they've been the best pair of boots for moveing, working boots ive had in a while. The ankle support is great. I wore'em to a few uspsa match. there well worth the $ 110 I payed a few years back
  15. Last match I was able to go to, I kept that In my rang bag & pulled out the nose pice after my run was over. Then my mom made me keep it on while pasting targets.
