Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Pretty much came to the same conclusion. Save up for the MGW Pro. They have shoes for all my platforms, 92, PX4, HK USP, AND Walther PPS. Can lock in vice for tough sight removals but easy enough to use at range to adjust front sights. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  2. For those with enough experience, if you could by any sight pusher to work on 92's and PX4's primarily which would you get? Fully committed to the 92/PX4 for the foreseeable future, would love to get a good pusher and stop using the vice/punches to change/adjust sights.
  3. Details, details, we need details. I've heard this mentioned before but can't find any info on the net. Any idea when and how much? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Happy with VZ Grips

Do either of you ccw with the vz grips? How do the tactical diamonds treat you skin during carry? Just got a P01 for carry and the grips are the only thing I have thought about changing. Has thin aluminum grips which feel a little slick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh

    Which CZ to get

Well, that didn't take long! Welcome to the addiction. Was on the phone with Stuart last week about picking up a CZ carry gun to keep my 75 shadow company. As many have said before, Stuart and CZC are super to work with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh

    Which CZ to get

Stu, you should feel like a proud papa whose son (or daughter) just knocked in the winning run! The gun the OP was shooting is the 75 Shadow you built for me. Only took one short trip at the range to bring another convert over to the darkside

    Got the VZ Grips

Can't agree more. Would love to see some VZ grips with a profile like the stock rubber grips. Anybody think it is worth barraging VZ with requests via e-mail? Some companies seem to respond to new product requests if there is enough interest shown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh
  8. How deep and wide is the LPA rear sight compared to the stock S&W rear sight? I have the Apex rear insert on mine but would really like something deeper and wider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh
  9. Czcustom has them. That's where I picked up mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh
  10. Had similar issues with mine using pretty much the same ammo. I think the mag springs are the culprit. I believe the 16 rd and 19 rd shadow mags use the same factory springs. In the shadow mags they may be a little weak causing the difficulty you have seen. I changed mine out with +10% springs and have been 100% since then, including Aguila. If I was patient, I suspect the problem would have corrected itself as the gun broke in. And at least in gun , the 124gr Aguila makes big ragged holes at 7-10 yards. 11. nice! it looks pretty close to the armor bronze i've been looking at by cerakote. I've got one of their certs and don't know what to do with it. Funny you said that. The inspiration for the color scheme was a gun Stuart did in Burnt Bronze Cerakote: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=45310.msg263711#msg263711 With a little of Justaute's thrown in.
  12. I found the tape on 3Ms site. Is it the foil backed tape? Were you able to wrap tape around and under the grip panels? Or just trim at edge of grip? Also, is that clear skater tape on the front and backstrap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh
  13. Did someone say Nickel Boron II? Been meaning to get some pics up but the weather in So FL has not cooperated. So, I tried some indoor shots. Also done in TN. Frame, slide, and most internals in CeraPlate II. Barrel, guide rod, hammer, and control parts in matte black CeraHide. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet (works' fault this time) but certainly is smooth and glass like. This gun had a great start in life as it came from CZC and was worked over by Stuart. I ordered spares, so I have multiple firing pins CeraPlated and multiple slide stop/extractors done in CeraHide. Just picked up an used Kadet slide that I will also send off for similar treatment. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome. Took a little time, but the quality of the work was worth the wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkh
  14. Any realistic timeframe on the HAJO? Really, really want on the the new pistola.
  15. One other question, How are the VZ grips holding up size wise compared to the arched aluminum? Also have big hands, I am going to start with stock rubber grips to get a feel of the size first and had thought about trying VZ or arched aluminum grips in the future. Thanks again, Matt
