  1. I’ll agree to disagree, but I don’t think telling others what they may or may not need as in tools for their job or their ability to use such tools is ill informed. I could go on but it’s not worth it and a waste of time. Back to getting 2011’s into carry optics.
  2. Not going to argue with you but you came from the standpoint of my taxes are high enough already etc., not going to get into with you as Hellen Keller could see what you meant. Your last sentence “someone else is paying for it, so why not”. What ever man, spin it how you like. Have a good day
  3. I know plenty others that are "gun people" and I have used my own money before to add to what I carry. I believe I know what you mean when saying "the average officer is probably better off with a glock", but I disagree and think that was poorly worded. Not getting in a pi$$ing match but when people think, oh they only need to spend this much and he doesn't need that is a bit too much. I'm assuming those that say that are not doing the job.
  4. I'm not sure I agree with this but I'm biased. I think we deserve the best tools for the job.
  5. I know I'm in the minority but every time I see a update for this thread I get hopeful. Oh well, lol.
  6. Let me ask it this way, what fps would it take to push a 124 to fully work the comp?
  7. Getting close to ordering and was curious of those that shoot a XC if you shoot coated. I've never had a comp'd gun before and I load coated. If it will be a huge pain then I will get the P model as I don't want the headache. I'm aware of the regular cleaning for the carbon but was asking more about the coated/lead in the comp area. Thanks
  8. I'm assuming just contact your insurance provider and ask about...hearing protection or is it a different angle/direction?
  9. I worded that wrong about the S2's, they've been out but out of stock everywhere.
  10. I've been checking daily, also the S2 OR's are out. So I'm assuming some will be released soon?
  11. I've looked around but I don't see where they have imported any TS2's in racing green or bronze yet. Does anyone know if they will or is it going to be the blue only?
  12. Unfortunately I was wanting the weight but I'm leaning the .270 jager though as the GS is $120 more. Not saying it isn't worth it but maybe not to me at this point, maybe tray one later. I thought the 270 jager rod only uses the ismi springs or atleast it used to say that in the description?
  13. I've read and searched about the different rods but I don't see much about one of my questions. I see captured and uncaptured and understand the difference and have 1911's so the uncaptured doesn't bother me but I see some or mainly all that use an adapter. The GS version comes without and I'm thinking it would better but you know what they say about assuming. I believe I'm going to go tungsten vs steel as its heavier but they are proud of them, I understand the metal price difference. Thoughts on rods that use/don't use an adapter?
  14. Thanks Sfisch0311, I've read before that he was a one man show and figured I would ask the questions here since many have his holsters and not send him duplicate requests. Thanks to both of you. Just got off the phone with him, questions answered and a really nice guy.
  15. Thats the thing, you don't get to choose the pattern (bladetech), the pattern is not a option. After reading the holster description again, it appears they come with a universal platform that is compatible. So it appears what I need to order is just the holster with no belt attachment. Yup, probably made this more difficult than it should or the company could have answered.
  16. I see that glock store has two different tungsten rods for the G5 34. One for 17/34 and a extended for the 34. Are there a preference for either one for a 34 and also I thought the 17 and 34 used the same legnth?
  17. I've sent GX a question on ordering and have never heard back, so maybe you guys can answer. Does the boss hanger and the nevermiss use the same hole pattern? Since the nevermiss is not a option on the belt attachment drop menu, would I pick none? If I pick none does the holster still get holes drilled for a default pattern? Is the nevermiss that much better than the boss? Thanks
  18. I'm gonna try that lynx belt to see what its like. I have no prior experience with other belts so gonna give it a whirl.
  19. Thanks everyone, gonna try a daa with an attached magnet.
  20. Is it preferred to have a stand a lone magnet on your belt or on your mag pouch? Curious as I'm getting my first set up, thanks.
  21. Looking forward to a sage dynamics review on this.
