I'm about to order new barrel to old blaster. Current is 38 sa v12, it runs well but takes almost 10 gr 3n38 to make major and it is difficult to get brasses in here. Options are Caliber 38 sa or sc or 9x19 (not sure if all are available) Number of pop holes 0 to 8 With or without comp Am I getting troube if i take 9mm without pop holes? Antti

You should seriously think Uronen Precision. It is made for competing, price is a bit on a high side but so is quality. Quite a many of top European ipsc shooters uses UP.

The study tells that if you shoot barrel to hot, steel ammo wears it much faster. Relevance in real life various from shooter to shooter. I use two uppers when training seriously, let the other calm down while shooting with the other. I have shot +10k cheap steelcase ammo from chromelined bushmaster and it still shoots about 1.5 moa with custom loads.
