Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. So is it worth the wait or just buy a normal gun and spend the money to tweak
  2. I have a 6" millenium custom and want to start shooting 3gun with it. Any recommendations for which holster is the most secure. I'd go for a Blade Tech DOH but can't figure out how that will work with my 6" gun. thanks in advance
  3. There are many good points of view mentioned. What was missed was to get a MGI adjustable gas tube or adjustable gas block. They do a great job with the AR or m16 family but I personally consider them a must with a DI type system. Especially running FA suppressed. FWIW
  4. My OAL is about 1.140 with 124gr bullets(works in mac m11/9, uzi, xd9 and 2011 millenium custom). I mostly shoot subguns so typically the longer the better. If I was only loading for one gun, the longest i can put in the mag works best for me
  5. for all the winchester fans out there. How long do the primer pockets stay tight? I load on a 1050 and it seems that if i ever have primers that don't seat it's a winchester case. Most all my brass is run thru a fullauto uzi or my millinium custom 6" 1320fps 124gr bullets. just curious
  6. bill j if you have a 9mm set up for the m16 check out iawca.org we have several fullauto matches coming up you may want to check out
  7. 550's are great if you need a progressive in a number of caliber's, otherwise save the cash for a 1050. I'm new to this forum, but am well known to other NFA(or machine gun) forums. After loading on the 550 for 2hrs+ a week, now I load for 1.5hrs on the 1050 a week and can mostly keep the MG's fed. Just don't set up a 1050 in 3 or more calibers and you'll be a happy camper.
