  1. I changed the barrels in both my 35 and 23 to Briley barrels and have had no feeding problems and use the same brass in my 1911 40 S&W.  My loads for both are 5.9 gr. universal clays with a 165gr. HP Montana Gold.  This is several tenths under a max load and is around a 167 pf.  OAL for the 1911 is 1.195 and for the Glocks is 1.130 as mentioned before there is about a 2% reject rate when run thru a case guage.

  2. Depending on how tight your chamber is headspace can be critical with as little as .002 to .003 differece in shoulder length locking the action up.  I've tried case guages and found them lacking  when setting dies.  I am currently using a Stoney Point headspace guage.  It fits on dial calipers and measures from the case head to the datum line on the shoulder.  You can set dies to your particular chamber or to factory specs.  Have used this with 223, 243, 308, 7mm. mag.  with great results.  Only runs around $35.00 available from Dillon, Midway, and others.

  3. There are several configurations of this gun, some will hold the bolt back ( mine will not ) one has different chokes, fixed sights, adjustable sights,  it seems you can't get one with all the options you'd like.  Guess the commie mentality is still alive, you can have it any way you want it as long as its the way we make it.

  4.  I tried one at our last match and took second with it, they function fine with light or heavy loads.  There are several mods to make before it could be used  for a major match,  The first is the bolt doesn't lock back on the last round or at all for that matter.  Also at a disadvantage with only 6 rounds.  Reloads are fast but often.  It is also my understanding that per BATF it is illegal to have a mag that holds more than 5 rounds in a shotgun.  I have not read this for myself but trust the person who looked it up.  Slugs shot with the one I used were 3" groups at 30yds.
