  1. I have some, what are you looking for?

I have seen some old posts about commercial equipment you had....still have them?

  2. I'm interested, please E-mail or PM me a link to CGN? Thanks for the help.
  3. As for primers, the Commercial Camdex machines I've seen had Vibratory Primer fillers mounted over the primer tubes. Should be simple to mount a Dillon Rapid Fill Primer Filler to your press.
  4. First off I do not know much about motors. You really need to be sure the type you use is an Instant Stop type for safety and other reasons. They use an Instant Stop, and instant switch reversable motor. By the way I have to give it to you, Your projects are INCREDIBLE. Bravo on the awsome work. Best of Luck, GunWhoreDer
  5. I spoke to P/W and they told me the RPM is optional, so they have 2 models. The kits do include both Linkages to run RL1000 & RL1050 models.
  6. Faster Model is marketed as being for Pistol Loading, Slower Model is for Rifle Loads. I do feel the faster Model would be just fine for both. Maybe even a faster RPM would work well for Pistol Loading.
  7. Hi JT, I could use it. I'll send you my ship to info in case it's still available. Thanks, GunWhoreDer
  8. I was told one of the commercial reloaders that have some in operation are going to make them a video. I found out the name of one of these companies so I had to ask them for the scoop. The reloader told me the system works very well, and they load preprimed brass. He had no details on priming problems to report due to this. I hope this takes off, and maybe gets offered by someone at a discount. I would need six units, or maybe just buy one and switch between presses if setup is relatively quick.
  9. I just saw an ad in Shotgun News for a kit to automate Dillon RL1050 and RL1000 Presses. It's made by Ponsness/Warren and retails for $850. Added to website on August 21, 2008. So looks pretty new on the market. Anyone here get a chance to see or use one yet. The kit weighs 40LBS. And has instant breaking, reverse, and slip clutch so it should work well. AmmoLoad automated presses retail around $18,000. about the same price as the Camdex. Now you can get a Dillon RL1050 $1,540 + KISS Bullet Feeder $550. + P/W Auto Drive $850. Total is only $2,940 for a Fully Automated Dillon. OH Yes!!!!! Just keep your fingers clear of the press and all should be just fine.
  10. I too noticed the original poster has not been contributing to this thread. I would be interested in replies if I had such problems. I have used all of Dillons presses except for the ShotGun SL900. I have had the owners of 2 "Super 1050B" improved presses offer to trade their like new machines for one of my old RL1050 machines. I say NO WAY to that. I guess presses also fall into the category of "They just don't make them like they used to". Good loading to all , GunHoreDer
  11. For the Lee feeder to work you must use their specialy made Radiused Die. Video of it on YouTube looks promising. There is a Gaspari Feeder right now on E-Bay with extra tubes and the loading tray for $110. he says he paid like $175 on another website I saw the same ad. I just received 2 KISS Bullet Feeders. There was a delay that seems to be in a change to the (Collator) Feeder Bowl. They are going from a fixed size bullet flipper to an adjustable bullet flipper system. I was told the plates are different from earlier collators. I luckily have some bullet collator bowls about twice the size of a Dillon Case Collator. So I only needed to buy the Conversion kits at $150. each. If you don't need the collator, they do seem to be shipping the conversions which include everything except the bowl and spring shute. Hope this helps, GunWhoreDer

  13. Dillon, Hornady, and RCBS have always taken very good care of me. Been reloading for over 25 years and broke a few things along the way. They always did right by me. Never realy did much with Lyman products so?
  14. I have upgraded my Hornady presses with the Dillon Powder Measures and they work great. Also my RCBS AmmoMaster. Measures that use the return spring just needs 1 or 2 extra springs. New style measures I just bend the outside safety Cam with pliers to disable it, then I put 2 to 3 return springs total on it. The powder funnel eliminates the need for a separate expander plug die. Good Luck, GunWhoreDer
  15. Oops, forgot about my 5 STAR Progessives, That makes 37 Total right now. Lyman Jr. Press Lee .50 BMG Cast Iron Press Kit. So that makes it 39 Machines currently.

  17. These are actual operating presses for personal use? How about a picture??? That is a list of the presses I've collected. I've sold off quite a few lately. I am down to only the following right now: 6 RL1000 1 RL1050 1 RL550B 2 RL450 1 RL450 Jr. Hornady 8 Pre LNL Projectors 3 Single Stage RCBS 1 Ammo Master Progressive 1 Green Machine 4 Single Stage C+H 1 4 station 1 Texan Turret 2 AmmoLoad Automated 32 Personal Use Presses. I am pressed (LOL) right now for room, so most are not getting their deserved use. Next house I build I'll make an Air Conditioned Gun/Reloading Room the size of a 4 car Garage. Thanks and take care , GunWhoreDer
  18. Hey Rob, did you end up buying the Dillon RL1000? I'm down to 6 of the RL1000. Love them, just hard to find other owners to discuss them with. Please give us a review on the Magic Press. Thanks, GunHoreDer
  19. Dillon 8 RL-1000 4 RL-1050 XL-650 7 RL-550B 5 RL-450 5 Square Deal B 450 Jr. Hornady 8 Pre LNL Projectors 5 Single Stage RCBS Ammo Master Progressive 2 Green Machine 5 Single Stage C+H 2 Auto Champ 2 4 station 2 Texan Turret 3 AmmoLoad Automated GunWhoreDer AKA ReloaderWhoreDer
  20. The RL1000 is a super smooth reloader that can load long rifle calibers as well as pistol. Parts availability is not a problem as I along with 2 others I know have stockpiled spare parts. But the RL1000 runs for a very long time without parts breaking or wearing out. Please feel free to contact me for any parts you might need and I should be able to help. I also have tons of conversion kits for many calibers too. I know some commercial reloaders that swear by the RL1000 and those folks load way more than most of us will ever come near. The RL1000 is mostly built of Stainless Steel and hand assembled. The last Dillon flyer showed a price of $2,385 plus Case Feeder $285 = $2,670 1980's Dollars. GunWhoreDer
  21. Use the Dillon Powder Measure w/ Expander Funnel on what ever brand of press you have and you'll be all smiles. I sold off a bunch of RL-550Bs and now have 5 pre LNL Hornady Projectors with Dillon Powder Measures on each one, and on my RCBS AmmoMaster. I use 2 to 3 return springs on each for added reliability. The Dillon powder through Expander funnels have a sharp taper so you have a full adjustment to bell the case from a tiny bit to Oil Filler Funnel shape. All the other brands seem to have little to no taper built into the funnel. You must Use the Older style Dillon Powder Measure or on the newer dual rocker type just bend the safety out so it runs without binding. I Love my Hybrid Hornadys. I use any brand of Carbide or Titanium sizer die but the last die Must be a Carbide Factory Crimp Die from Lee for Pistol or a Factory Crimp Die from Lee for Rifle. Each press is dedicated for 1 caliber only so the LNL feature is not that important to me and I saved by buying the older models. They are rock solid compared to Any Dillon but the RL-1000 or RL-1050 series. I also use the same Dillon P.M. on my RL-1050s and RL-1000 machines. My $18 Thousand Dollar AmmoLoads from Ammoload.com use a rotoray powder system or I would have put Dillon P.M. on them too. Good Luck, GunWhoreDer
  22. Thanks everyone. The barrel is not a busning system it's builtup at the front. The black on the barrel and rod are just carbon buildup the 1st owner had not cleaned off from the range session. I spoke to the builder and he told me I was lucky to have bought 1 of his builds because he gives a LifeTime Warranty on all his guns. Not to the original owner but to who ever owns it. Now that's as good as buying a Dillon reloader. Thanks again, GunWhoreDer
  23. I bought a Caspian top/bottom Custom built by Radical Precision Designs Co. Master Custom Pistolsmith Venry d'Aiguillon of Opa Locka, FL. Anyone have any experience with them or any info you would share. Gun is super slick, awesome trigger and feels incredible. It has a tapered cone type barrel. Can't find much on the web. Thanks, GunWhoreDer
  24. Bullet maker Magma Eng. Bullet Master makes 4,000+ per hour $6,600. AmmoLoad automated loader loades 5,000 rounds per hour $15K-18K These are recognized to be superior to the Balisticast and Camdex machines. I have 4 of the Bullet Masters w/ 45 sets of 8 molds each. 3 of the AmmoLoads, 2 Ammo sorting and boxing machines, Automatic Brass sorter, SCHARCH MFG. case inspector, and Case inspector w/ AutoReamer. Everything you need and then some to go into the Loading business. Any interest in all or some of these? My E-mail fullauto@swfla.rr.com Thanks, GunWhoreDer
  25. Some of you did not read my post closely enough. The carbide ring is only sizing most of the cases body, not the tip which is tapered. Hence no harm to the bullet gripping area. If you try running bottle neck cases tru a resizing die you will loosen the grip on the case, this is why the lee die only has a ring and not the whole bottle neck shape to it's cripmer/finish sizer. Uniforming the case afterall other steps is a very good idea if your press can hold enough dies. GunWhoreDer
