Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. ASHLAND LAKE GUN CLUB, ASHLAND, OHIO — Saturday, September 13, 2014Who is shooting? What division? Looking forward to my first state match. I'll be shooting my M&P in ESP/SS.
  2. Disabled safeties are a no-no in IDPA regardless of division, from my understanding at least.
  3. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? SSI has them out-of-stock and quinn doesnt have them on their own site anymore. Are they still being produced?
  4. Any idea when the scores will be published? It isnt going to be pretty for me, but im always interested.
  5. Depends what game you will be playing with this gear, but I think the comp-tac pouches are awesome. Double or singles.
  6. I may have to copy those dryfire target stands — I get bored with my same target array I've been working in dryfire. Nice job in the video above also!
  7. Congrats on the win Chris, looks like a fun one!
  8. Thanks for the Tips, Ill look into both of them!
  9. Any online retailers that Roll-Size their once-fired 9mm brass. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Pretty sure this is legal as long as you're loading to division capacity and the firearm with extended magazine still fits in the IDPA box. Anyone got a confirmation of this?
  11. This seems to be the constant struggle balancing competition and training. The scenarios you list are common topics among those involved in IDPA. I encourage you to read a summary of the initial suggestions collected by the "Tiger Teams" listed here: http://idpaforum.yuku.com/topic/8070/Summary-of-all-suggested-changes-to-the-rule-book IDPA is never going to be a complete simulation of concealed carry/home defense scenarios. I encourage you to enjoy it for what it is, shoot what you want/or carry, and get what YOU want out of it. Whether that is to win a game, assess your shooting skills, confirm you can shoot under stress, etc.
  12. Anyone with insight why Ohio with a large number of shooters and 13 sanctioned clubs hasn't put together a state championship in 3 years? Is it a lack of organization/initiative? Lack of club willingness to host? Lack of volunteers? I'd love for this trend to change, and am curious how we can make that happen?
  13. I usually try to pair up with another shooter who also collects their brass. I'll pick up their brass while they walk-through with the scorers, and they do the same for me. Seems to work well as come match day I want to see my scores, but I hate leaving a bunch brass behind. Also, I don't feel like I'm holding up the squad. That being said, if I'm alone Ill pick up only whats quickly within reach on my way back to my bag to keep things moving.
  14. It seems there hasn't been a State IDPA Match in Ohio for the past two years for various reasons... Does anyone have any details if the state match will be back in 2012?
