Hey guys, Shot in my first match in 4 years, Before that I'd only shot a hand full, not enough to get classified. Well today I had 2 goals. 1. don't get DQ'd 2. Don't finish dead last I managed to accomplish both, finished 23rd out of 27. Would have liked to finished better but somebody needs to make the rest of the field look better. I;m shooting a Sig P229 Pretty short on barrel,I had a heck of a time with the steel Poppers weren't bad but the plate racks and the Texas star messed me up a couple of times. Oh well nothing a little practice won't cure. Have a good day guys Dave

Thanks. Picked up a BLACKHAWK SERPA holster and 1 Blackhawk mag holder. I plan on getting 2 more mag holders and a plain lether belt. From what I've read the holster may have been a mistake but i"ll use it till I can afford to change classes. I'll probably pass it on to my 15 yr. old daughter and let her start with it in production. She really wants to start competing. She likes making dad look bad Unfortunatly she needs foot sugery. Howdy, Newbie here (kind of) I shot a hand full of matches a few years ago, then got pre-occupied and let my membership laps. Well I renewed today and plan on returning weekend after next. Need to get a holster and mag holders (inexpensive). I plan on using my Sig 229 in .40 cal in Production It's all I have for Now Any pointers or Advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave
