  2. Here is a load I used to use in my old S&W DK1911... If the weather is good this weekend, I'll try to chronograph it. Bullet: Oregon Trail 200 gr. LSWC Powder: Hodgdon Titegroup 4.7 grs. Primer: Federal 150 Case: Winchester LOAL: 1.245 Recoil Spring: 17 lbs
  3. I'm not sure if this would be considered an open gun... but it's definitely a single stack! A Wilson Combat Super Grade in 38 Super.
  4. I tried Remington 1 1/2s and they would pierce with anything but mild loads. I quit using them - but if that's all you have...
  5. I've never tried Accurate #5 in my .38 Super before, pretty happy with it! Accurate and it left the gun nice and clean. Twenty shots at 30 feet - yeah, I blew a couple. Bullet: Hornady 125 gr XTP #35710 (.357)Powder: Accurate Arms #5 7.2 grs.Primer: Federal 100Case: PMC .38 Super +PLOAL: 1.200Recoil Spring: Dawson tool-less guide rod, 14 lb. Recoil Spring and Wilson Combat Shok-Buff.
  6. Here's what I use, my best attempt to duplicate factory ammo with the bullets I have. It shoots well in all my 9mm pistols but I'll have to find another powder, I'm just about out of CFE and WAC. Gun: Glock 17 with Alpha Wolf Barrel. Bullet: Speer 115 gr. Gold Dot HP Powder: Hodgdon CFE Pistol 5.95 grs. Primer: Winchester Small Pistol Case: Federal (2-Dot) LOAL: 1.125 (0.850 Base to Ogive with Stoney Point) Average Velocity: 1199.69 fps ES: 36.00 SD: 11.21 Recoil Spring: ISMI 15 lb. recoil spring and Jager Polymer Guide Rod.

  8. @Postal Bob I've thought about it and agree with what you've said. I will try them again when supplies ease up (hopefully). It did look USPS was rough with the package and that's not on lbejihead. It's no wonder I prefer FedEx and UPS...
  9. I ordered 1000 of the .40 caliber 180 gr. RNFP BBs on 23 January 2021 and they just arrived today. The package was pretty beat up and had many holes. Both the two inner 500 head boxes had almost completely fallen apart including the plastic bags containing the bullets. They still looked pretty good, but I was missing 160 from all the leaks - won't be ordering anymore.
  10. Oops! They went back to "Processing"! Deliverus Interuptus I guess!
  11. Anybody get responses from ibejiheads when asking about order status?
  12. I ordered from ibejiheads on January 23, my order is still pending.
  13. Looks like you are sticking to a factory OAL. I did like ZIP in my 2011 loaded long, here's my load data. Bullet: Rainier 180 gr. FN Plated Powder: Ramshot Zip 5.2 grs. Primer: Winchester Small Pistol Case: Remington LOAL: 1.180 Avg. Vel.: 972.97 fps ES: 81.06 SD: 23.47 PF: 175

  15. I'm another oddball that likes to shoot minor loads out of my STI Edge .38 Super. I haven't checked the velocity on every load that follows (one day). Here ya go! Bullet: Hornady 115 gr. 17. I use this load in my Wilson Combat Beretta 92G. I seem to use Titegroup with plated and jacketed bullets but not that much with coated (had not noticed that until now). Bullet: Blue Bullet 125 gr. 18. Can I use old age? I'm 63 and my eyeballs are not what they used to be! LOL!
  19. I know it's not the softest shooting powder and it's not one you mentioned... but my Beretta 92G sure likes BE-86! Fifteen shots at 30 feet. Bullet: Hornady 115 gr. FMJ Powder: BE-86 5.0 grs. Primer: Winchester Small Pistol Case: Fiocchi OAL: 1.115
  20. I don't like posting load data without chronograph readings but this one was pretty good. My 9mm's don't seem to shoot very well with the Speer 124 gr. TMJ but my .38 Super does!
