I use Montana Gold 124 JHP, not Precision Delta. But here is what I use:
Win 231/HP38 4.4 gr
Win SPP
Mixed brass
OAL 1.125-1.127
Hope this helps.

Yeah, those the same components I use for a G17, and a G34, and a KelTec Sub 2000. None of mine are actually a G19, so use your best reasoning.
I use 4.4 Win 231 at an OAL of 1.127 with MG JHP 124 gr with Win SPP as my load for all of my 9MM weapons. I use these cartridges in Glock 17 rd mags, and in the Big Stick 32 rd mags. I've had NO troubles.
Best wishes.

I purchased an S2K using G17 (9MM) mags. I have 2 33 rd 9MM mags from Glock. And use both 17 rd mags and the 33 rd mags. I enjoy the weapon very much! Best wishes with the possible purchase!

I agree with kcannaday2011, but Manny Bragg needs to order 6 boxes or more of a specific bullet. He is several dollars cheaper per case, and is very easy to work with!
-
It is the price per case, if you by 3 or more cases. Therefore, the cost for 3 cases is $900+.

As A Matt answered also, I was told they were more accurate. If they are, they exceed my current skill.

Yes. I like Montana Gold JHP in 180GR for 40S&W. I use Winchester 231 powder with Winchester Small Pistil Primers.
Wish you the best

I have used Win SPP for the last year. No problems.
I load on a 550 also, using MG 124 JHP for 9MM, and MG 180 JHP for 40S&W. Range brass, and HP38.
Hope this helps you.

I use a 550 (for the last 14 months!). I use Glock 17 and 34 in 9MM, and Glock 22 and 35 in 40S&W.
I use Winchester 231 (or Hogdon HP-38), Montana Gold 124 gr JHP in 9MM, and Montana Gold 180 gr JHP in 40S&W.
I use Winchester Small Pistol primers, and range brass.
I use 4.4 gr of HP38 at 1.122 OAL for 9MM (about 130-135 PF)
I use 5.2 gr of HP38 at 1.127 OAL for 40S&W (about 175-180 pf).
I use Powder Valley for powders and primers, and MannyUSA for 6 cases or more of MG bullets.
Hope this is useful to you.

I use Winchester 231 / HP38 4.4 gr with an OAL of 1.125-1.130 using MG 9MM 124 gr JHP, with mixed range pick up. I like it out of my Glock 17, Glock 34, and Keltec S2K. I get about 1090+ fps for around 136 power factor. Hope this helps you.

I am not much help with 115 gr bullets.
I use MG 124 JHP (9MM) using HP38 (Win 231) 4.4gr with an OAL between 1.125 and 1.135. I have Chrono'd these during the summer, and hit 130PF with NO problems. Like I said, though, I am using 124 JHP. I've had good enough results (also shooting USPSA) that I have not tried anything else. The weapon(s) (Glock 17 and Glock 34) shoots better than I do, so far!
These were suggested (for my G17 and G34) by my Brother-In-Law (Tony Hawkins) who is an armorer, and has been shooting USPSA for more than 15 years. He is a Master in several classes.
Wish you the best.

I use Montana Gold for 9MM (124 gr JHP) and 40S&W (180 gr JHP) bullets, and Powder Valley for Win 231, and primers. I've had good experiences with both. Good luck.

I use Winchester 231/Hodgdon HP38 for all of my 9MM and 40S&W pistols (G17/G34 and G23/G35). I use Montana Gold 124 JHP for 9MM, and Montana Gold 180 JHP for 40S&W. I use Winchester Small Pistol Primers (WSP). I use range brass for both 9MM and 40S&W.
I have used this site (http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp) to look up sample loads and OAL. I usually use Lymans manual first.
Hope this info is useful to you.

I have been reloading both 9MM and 40S&W (for Glock 17, 34, and 35). I use range brass for all of my reloads. I understand that the 'bulge' MAY be a problem, if the shooter is using HOT loads. I don't use HOT loads, and have had no problems with bulge!
I have had a problem with WCC 9MM brass. I understand it due to the primers, and I simply save any WCC 9MM brass and trade it to someone using a Dillon 1050!
Wish you the best.

I use Win 231, with Winchester Small Pistol Primers (WSP). I use Montana Gold 124gr JHP in both a Glock 34 and Glock 17 pistols. I use 4.5 gr of Win 231, at an oal of 1.124 in both pistols. Good Luck.

Yeah, Brian assisted me in getting everything I needed (In Jan this year) for 9MM. He was very helpful, as was Dillon when I had some minor problems (Like a broken kinetic hammer!) Very good support at both companies!

Thanks

Short question. I understand avg, median, and std dev, but what is ES? Is the count of samples, or what?
Thanks for an explanation.
-
I use both Glock 34 and 17 9MM weapons.
I use
Win 231 4.5
OAL of 1.125
WIN SPP
MG JHP 124
As my weapons are different than yours, this may not assist you.
Best wishes.

I may reload 380 auto later. I was researching the loads on Hodgdon, and see what I consider a question.
The starting powder load for a 90gr JHP bullet is higher (at 3.2 gr) that for both of the heavier bullets listed (both 95 and 100 gr FMJ) which each have a starting load of 2.9gr of powder.
Lyman's 49th also has a similar listing.
for 90gr JacketHC (which I would think were very similar, if not the same as, JHP) and 95gr FMJ starting Win231 load is 2.1
while
for 115gr JHP starting Win231 load is 2.0
Is the heavier powder load due to the bullet type (JHP), rather than the bullet weight?
This premise is sort of eliminated by the Lyman entries. What am I missing?
I am confused by the heavier starting loads for a lighter weight bullet!
The COL's are also listed, and change with each bullet weight (not surprising!)
Hodgdon
90 GR. HDY JHP HP-38 .355" .955" 3.2 917 13,900 CUP 3.5 957 15,400 CUP
95 GR. SPR FMJ HP-38 .355" .970" 2.9 802 13,100 CUP 3.2 884 15,400 CUP
100 GR. HDY FMJ HP-38 .355" .980" 2.9 819 13,800 CUP 3.1 843 15,400 CUP
While Lyman's 49th has
90gr Jacketed HC OAL at .925
95 gr FMJ OAL at .900
115 gr JHP oal at .956
The OAL's seem all over the place for the same type of bullet
(90 gr JHP has either .955 or .925).
(95 gr FMJ has either .970 or .900).
Seems like a very large spread to me. Comments desired.
Thanks for any/all clarifications.

I reload 9mm, using Win 231, MG 124JHP, at COAL of 1.126.
I use these cartridges in both a Glock 34, and Glock 17 with no problems. I use a Dillon RL550B with standard Dillon dies.
These seem to have about 1050 to 1070 FPS which easily makes Minor PF (about 130-135). And Temp does not seem to impact the powder.
Good luck with VV320 test. I also will be interested in your results.

You specified 115gr FMJ. I reload 9mm, using Win 231, but I use MG 124JHP, at COAL of 1.126.
I use these cartridges in both a Glock 34, and Glock 17 with no problems. I use a Dillon RL550B with standard Dillon dies.
Try making some dummy rounds in your mags, and in your barrel. That will let you know if the OAL you are using will work in your weapon, and mags. Good luck.
-
I have used Win 231 (Glock 23 - standard barrel) with MG 164gr JHP at OAL of 1.123. I have had no problems with cycling the weapon, and the only real problem is MY targeting! Best wishes.

2 possibles. 1) load your mag with the slide on your weapon locked open, or 2) load the mags with 14 (-1) rounds. I haven't had that problem, though, with my G22. I also use Dawson (and Arendondo) mag extensions with no problems.
