Hi all. I have been reading for some time but but haven't found so much info. Don't know why, but I have some curiosity on how the slide cuts and milling is done. Not sure if CNC milling is what is still used for that or maybe laser?.. I read a little bit of cncguns, grizzly, little machine shop but still very basic, any feedback is appreciated. thanks

Weird thing, I removed the front sight and when I went to put the .180: first, it is too loose that I couldnt install it. second, the .180 sight fit flat with the frame. No as the one in the picture. so I dont know if i have a different wrong front sight. i will check the 020-276 and maybe order it. thanks

Thanks. Would you mind to let me know the exact model you got for the RIA hi cap? I got one that is .180 but not sure if I will have to adjust the rear too high. I see a lot of sights listed on DP but not sure which one will work. A friend gave me one? it is the 020-180-00 , not sure if it will work.

I got a RIA pro match, i dont like the big front sight, I was wondering which dawson precision front sight I could use to replace it(that fit the slide notch). Does any 2011 front/s would work? also, are there different grips that I could switch to? what bigger safety could I use? Thx

Hi all. I have a czc shadow(since 2+ years) Cleaning it today l noticed that with the hammer down I can engage the safety on(without forcing it) and when pulling the trigger it will fire... when cocked and locked, it won't fire. So safety works fine in SA. cant remember exactly how it was before, i think it may let me pull the trigger but it didnt fire. My main cooncern is that Im not sure if that would be a DQ, Im going to idpa nats in 2 weeks so wanted to make sure before in case i have to change any part on the gun. Any thoughts?

I got a new DeltaPointP , today i just used for the first time for my CO Cz, after like 60 rounds i noticed that the 2 screws on the side next to where it says DP-Pro were gone, these are to hold the cover/frame of the len ... does anyone know the size so i can order them? I will try to call leupold this week but if i can get any screws locally Would be good and quicker. thanks

Does anyone knows what is the factory main spring # and recoil spring # for the shadow 2? Does the shadow 1 trigger spring works in the S2? I have one available but not sure thanks

Thanks all. I got the Leopold DP pro and a CZC multi sight base. the Deltapoint has already a very thin mount base, should I remove it or should it be let there when installing? thanks

Thanks. I got the CZC multi sight and kit 11522 to get it ready. with mecgar 17 rounds, TTI +4 base pad. does it need any fit or is good to go?

Hi all. I have a spare SP01 that I would like to use to carry optics, I know nothing about red dots, mounts, etc.. I don't want to mill the slide. just to use maybe a czc dovetail. any recommendation in sight mount and red dots? the other day was talking to someone and was told there are some small one where you don't get so much visibility, not sure how important that is. thanks

Hey, I have one question regarding the safety, I'm getting a lim pro for idap/uspsa. I need to remove the right side safety, do I need to order a single side safety or is there something that can be done without buying a new one? Thanks

Thanks for the input. I'm not crazy about the trigger, 6-7 (5 better) for DA and 3 SA is fine for me. will start doing the full math now.. I would like other grips than wood but that still make weight.. which one do u recommend? there are some blue/red from EG I think but those dont make weight, and I saw some others thinners that looks lighter from henning.. what other options could I look for? thanks

Hi all. I currently have a SP01 Shadow which has worked fine and I like it, can't complain. I use it for USPSA and IDPA. I have seen some tanfoglios (stock 2 and LimPro) and I'm liking it, are pretty guns.. so I have been thinking on getting the Limited pro as that can be used for both games. I have read the stock ii and shadow are similar in recoil, however I dont know how the cz sp01 shadow compare to the lim pro with the short dust cover and long slide.. I know this matter is subjective but wanted to hear your personal experience/opinions.. Regarding the trigger work, #1, 2 and #3 polish, then hammer/recoil/trigger spring.. what trigger pull could I get with that? or also do I need extended firing pin, sear, hammer? Thanks

Hi all. finally after one year I installed the mag ext +6. I left 16" of spring after the endcap. So my doubt now is how would I know if I NEED or should cut more to let say 14"? . I loaded/unloaded 10 rounds and 0 issues but havent take it to the range. what is the pro or con of going to -14" of spring instead of 16? Also something that I noticed when inserting the follower /spring with the mag ext already in place. Was that the follower kind o stop a little bit at the join, i pull it out and push again with no issue, when loading the 10 rounds and unloading it didnt have any issue. Is that normal? . I checked and there was no any bump at the end of the mag.

Hi all. I have a 650xl, I know once I read somewhere in the forum how to replace it but cant find the post. The deprime die PIN has a retaining ring on top of the die so the PIN doesnt fall of , not sure what is the name but I know it break frequently , I have used the spare it had and 2 other more I got.. So, how or what piece could buy so it doesnt break every 10k rounds? Thanks

Hi all. I have been reloading 147rn xtreme bullets for a year now. 1.140 for my cz mostly and 0 issue.. All pass the chamber check.. It will drop free on the barrel itself.. I have a dillon 650 and dillon dies. I decided to try blue bullets 147RN, dillong case lube.. And i get a lot more noticable bulk or coke bottle than isual and almost all bullets wont drop free/ clean on the barrel. Actual sometimes it drop free on the chamber checker (lyman and egw) I try more crimp, nothing changed. Even worst i beleive, seated it deeper and nothing..1.130-.135.. No sure how to fix it. Can i get it to work without ordering u-die and FCD? Before xtreme and i was using bayou and with hard brass i had a lot of fail chamber check.. When i switched to xtreme it was awesome as i never had failed chamber.. As ordering 3000 blue bullets seams cheap Im giving a try.. Any advice? Thanks

Hi all. I have a sp01 and a sp01 shadow from czcustom.. I will be using more the shadow now, but i dont like the extended safety. Sometimes I hit it while shooting or during a reload. I was wondering if i can just switch safeties between the sp01 and shadow or does it requiere some fitting..? Thanks

Thanks all for the information. it was helpful. I wanted to update the original post with what I ordered but cant edit it. I ordered: 1- 40 conversion kit (I bought it locally and dillon price) 2 - Lee FCD, dillon powder die of course, lee Undersized, and Lee seating die.. (very easy to adjust, I'm thinking in replacing my dillon 9mm dies for lee lol).. that's it everything I need to start reloading 40. At some point I will order a case feeder plate, powder measure...(it would be good to have but no needed now).. thanks
