Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I specifically don’t want a plate system — more potential points of failure and it puts the red dot higher over the bore. I understand the reasons why someone would want one, but for me the RMR footprint is fine.
  2. I would like to get my Shadow 2 slide milled to direct mount an SRO. I do not want a plate system. Who have you used and would you use them again?
  3. Ben Stoeger Pro Shop now has a link designed so that you can directly mount the boss hangar to the link: https://benstoegerproshop.com/daa-lynx-belt-link-for-boss-holster-hanger-safariland-els/?mc_cid=02c68f86bb&mc_eid=6dfd93853f
  4. Has anyone figured out an adapter to mount a Boss hanger onto the Lynx belt? It’s a bit too thick for Teklok.
  5. I bought it new, but it was missing one of the inserts.
  6. I got some race master pouches that im trying to setup for my CZ Shadow 2. I realize that they come setup for a 2011. Unfortantely, DAA doesnt label the various inserts. I’ve tried several combinations and adjusting the tension wheel, but they are way, way too loose for my CZ mags. Any suggestions? never mind, I solved it. The first pouch I assembled didn’t come with the CZ insert.
  7. I despise the PACT Club release timer furiously. I just can't use the damn thing. Back when I was a safety officer in that other sport, the CSO on our stage wanted me to use it. I tried for a couple shooters, then muttered a few expletives and changed to my own CED 700.
  8. Boss/Bladetech. Be sure to use some locktite on the screws.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

IIRC, the shadow 1 is OK for SSP, as long as it is not the Shadow SP-01 Target. The Shadow SP-01 Target is not OK, due to the milling of the slide for the rear sight.
  10. I tried that, but it didn't work for me. There was too much chance of fumbling in getting it in my waistband, or of having it fall out while moving.
  11. In my experience a reload with retention is quite a bit slower than a slide lock reload.
  12. Back when I shot production with a Glock 34, my carry 19 was my backup gun. I also carried extra fiber optic rods for the front sight, front sight screws, and a Glock tool.
  13. That sucks. I was an SO in that other sport, and in the process DQed several people. I never lectured or demeaned the people that I DQed. I always treated them with respect.
