Just FYI. I called TK about a month ago when I noticed the feed lips weren't available on the website, and needed to refurb some magazines. They did sell me about a dozen of them, under a special request when I called them directly.

I would imagine it has more to do with where you shoot. Out west, you're likely to see a lot more sandy berms and wind, which can really get a open gun dirty quick, even if you're covering it between stages. I field strip and clean my gun after every match, and fully strip it and clean it about every 2000 rounds. Would it work fine with less cleaning? Sure. Would it bother me if I let it go longer without cleaning? Absolutely.

Make bullets? Or reload ammo? FYI - Lead bullets are typically not recommended at open gun velocities.

I didn't have high expectations, but I saw it last night, and liked it. Visually it was stunning, the plot was sort of a montage derivation of 5 or 6 different sci-fi movies. There was definitely some plot twists along the way.

Yes, but how reliable it is will depends on how the extractor is tuned.

Try it before you change anything. May need to tune your extractor. I also had the feed lips tuned a bit on my mags when I switched.

Awesome, thanks for the info, I didn't know that. One more dumb question. Is that belt attachment ambidextrous? It looks like it can be reversed at the hinge point for a left handed draw, but I wanted to make sure before I ordered one.

So at a local match today I brushed up against a wall during a stage walk through, and as a result my Ghost Holster basically broke in half. Fun times. Anyway, I'm traveling for a major match next week, so I've already ordered/over-nighted an emergency replacement left handed holster. In the mean time however, since it's only a broken piece of plastic, I would like to replace that broken piece to get this holster fixed as a backup. I went to the Ghost website looking for a support point of contact, but didn't have much luck. I sent them an email using their online email form, but I was hoping someone on the forum might have contact information for the right person to talk to at Ghost Products to order a replacement for the broken plastic piece? +1 on Larry. He also makes a custom palm-swell grip, with pretty much any other option, if you want a thicker 1911 grip.

It can make indexing and dot acquisition difficult to get used to. (But it kind of depends on how far offset the dot is from center.)

My personal opinion is that the Trojan has a better fit and trigger out of the box than the SA Loaded.

You will need to clean it. Not counting the press, off the top of my head. Just a quick beginners note, there are different types of "Clays" powder, and they load differently. (Universal, Plain, etc.)

http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/ You really can't go wrong with N320 and 147 gr bullets for 9mm minor, though there are other powders nearly as good (and you've hit several of them in your post). My personal opinion is that N320 is worth ordering even if you can't find it local. (That said, it's not a cheap powder, and having to pay the hazmat fee doesn't help.) Keep in mind if you have to order powder and primers online, you have to pay a hazmat shipping tax, so it's great if you can find powder locally, however a lot of the more popular competition powders like VV-N320 (Limited minor), or N105 / IMR7625 (Open major) are rarely carried at your local Sportsman's Warehouse, so most people order the bigger jugs when buying online and stock it, so they can cut down on the hazmat charges.

I have a Sightron S3, 6-24x50, and I really like it. It tracks nice, and has super nice glass, for a low to mid-ranged price scope. (My only complaint with the Sightron is the lack of zero stops.)

I'm interested in hearing some input as to which method is fastest, do you draw to the wide open rear target and work your way forward, or do you draw to the closer smaller headshot, and work your way back? Brazo's (and probably Dawson) offers a competition package Trojan (Brazo's doesn't list it on their website, you have to call and talk to them about it) where they add a STI magwell, fiber optic sights, and an ambi-safety. (Though the STI magwell, isn't very big. I swapped out mine, and put in a DP Ice instead.) I doubt many people would consider the recoil master in the Sentry as a bonus.
