  1. Gotta link? Looks like in Store only... http://www.fieldandstreamshop.com/p/federal-vital-shok-truball-rifled-slug-shotshell-ammunition/15fedutrbll12g234amo
  2. Anyone mount a blade-tech drop and offset with ELS attachments? I don't see an easy way to do it.. but I'm a software guy.. I know I'm missing something tia - dave
  3. thanks everyone for the tips drilling the CR Speed belt worked great. I drilled just the center holes at the same spacing as the attachments.. (about every 3/4" haven't need anything else to this point), on a drill press using a little spacing jig I made. Drill press was just faster than doing it with a hand drill Then ran the soldering iron through all the holes
  4. Thanks! I must have older pouches than those, on mine it looks like the tighteners (is that a word?).. but they're the non-tilt type Just went back and checked, and I do have a couple of the same ones you posted above those will be easy..
  5. Which model blade-techs? Any hints on how you got the attachments to work?
  6. I tried to correct that... eta - found it!
  7. just got this from my brother in law who spent a couple weeks down there
  8. A day is probably all I need there.. it's just so big.. I didn't want to head to the wrong spot..
  9. Anyone go over to Germany for Oktoberfest? Looking for places to stay.. hopefully not exorbitant prices, but nice, in Munich and close enough to walk around the venues if that's possible. Should I try to make opening weekend.. or any day is still pretty good? tia.. Dave
  10. The lowest I've gone with TG is 3.6 gr with a West Coast plated 158 gr bullet. That gave me a PF of 113. Avg: 715, Std Dev 30 In a 6" 627 Hope that helps.
  11. I joined this club today..... I'll look at a few more 3 Gun matches further away next year
  12. It's possible that things have changed, but yhis is from George about 10 years ago.. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23777&page=2#entry285205 >> EGW offers is not EGW MANUFACTURES.... About 16 years ago John Lee and I worked on a couple things. I wanted to use the press and dies, ended up with just the dies but by now we have sold over 5000 U dies in super, 40,9, and 45 They are made to our spec. the flat has a U stamped on it, and a special die (we order 50 at a time) that saves your bacon and is quite a bit cheaper than a roll sizer. Every Time Todd Jarret has a class we sell half a dozen in the area he was last. What they cost? last time I checked we were a for profit corp. You guys know what Bill Wilson Pays for a magazine? didn't think so. I bet he aint tellin
  13. Bitcoin.. it's seems to more like a commodity than money, it's more volatile than trading frozen orange juice
  14. Anyone do the holes differently? I'm thinking of making a little jig that would position the holes every [x] inches to make the belt more versatile (sort of like a jig to drill shelve supports). Probably when I get my first set, I can determine the right spacing
  15. I saw that post.. that got me thinking now's the time, ordered a few kits and some extra mounts... And free shipping.. thanks!
  16. Thanks guys.. you're right Butch .. got the info i needed to start.. $27 is worth it to check them out. Any other little parts besides a few kits I should order at the same time and save some shipping?
  17. Thanks Chris. So when you guys are 'drilling' the holes, do you only drill for what you're currently using?
  18. butch..why did you skip the Safariland belt? it's just too weak/flimsy? I have a few CR 1.50" belts, will those work, or do I need to go to a 1.75" like the Safariland Why: Just for 3 Gun.. I'd like to have the capability to change my setups faster for a stage.
  19. There's probably a good thread on this, but I got 600+ results searching for Safariland ELS belts Is there a good 'idiots guide to ELS' thread out there? I like the concept, but seems a lot of people don't like the belt and use DAA or something similar? And if you do that you punch your own holes? Is it easy to convert pouches from TekLok to ELS? Weak search foo.. thanks.. Dave
  20. thanks for all the advice here, and the PMs as well. I ended up getting another cheap 10" miter saw, and using a .045" metal cutoff wheel blade for it. Finally picked up some steel yesterday and tried it out. The cuts are very clean. I do have to make an better accessory fence. I threw together one just to be able to make a few cuts (because of the 7" blade on 10" saw), but I made a few test pieces that I can relearn how to weld on Mac.. thanks for the tips. If it was wood, I like that notched corner, but the miter is going to be easier for me with steel.
  21. Thanks.. I saw that.. I have that exact light, just need a mount for it
  22. alma.. nice shooting! I need a universal flashlight for a picatinny rail.. something like the VTAC.. any others that I should look at?
  23. I always think about how deaf most of these characters would be.
  24. I have my laser/light combo at 12.. thinking of putting this on at 9.. just for stages that need a little something extra... Does that fit ok on standard rails? How about something like a Clock 34? That could be very handy I like that one.. ~140 at Optics Planet.. weight ok for you? (I'm guessing I'll see you at the next night match.. lol) another question.. I bought a cheap clamp on for my shotgun for a flashlight.. any one have a good alternative that have a rail that clamps on the mag tube?
