  1. Curiously, the sight is now listed out of stock on SIG's website and every review, including positives, has been erased. I think in SIG language this might be called "a voluntary upgrade".
  2. I don't believe that any of p320 derivatives. Including M17 and M18, have supporting studs that are causing the issue here.
  3. Steve is aware of this. I didn't talk to him in person and I cannot tell you his exact reaction. My understanding that they don't want to be making plates for every single optic released in the wild so they will likely wait and see if this thing takes off or not. Logically, if this were to be the case, wouldn't we have had reports about some DPPs not being compatible with some DPP plates? Anybody heard anything of that sort? I have not. I think, but not sure, that the original Deltapoint footprint was different from a Deltapoint Pro. Maybe this is the reason? I let SIG know about this by submitting a review on their site. My review was never published and I haven't been contacted either.
  4. You sure you didn't press on the same button repeatedly?
  5. 3 MOA. I've shot 8 MOA dots and found them too big. I also shot 2.5 dots, remember the times when 2.5 DPPs were the only choice, and thought the dot itself wasn't too bad.
  6. R3M Pro on the left, DPP on the right. Holes on R3 Pro are slightly but noticeably smaller. I couldn't seat it on two different DPP plates, Accuracy X and CZ Custom. Note that bottom plate that covers R3 Pro's guts will prevent making front holes bigger or relocating them. Anything that has true DPP bosses will have to be modified to accept this sight.
  7. Mine does too. I'm not measuring splits but beating the end of a beep. I'm on a run, otherwise I would've linked up something to show what I'm doing. Based on today's results, I think the beep lasts 0.35, no refractory period after that.
  8. ... is there a refractory period after? Working trigger control at speed drill in live fire. Timer does not pick up my shots so I guess I'm doing OK. Trying to figure out what time I'm beating then. I assume somewhere under 0.35.
  9. Stuart, thanks for replying, I hope all is well. My problem has been solved, at least for now. Will reach out if the fix doesn't hold. This thread, I was asking for a friend, literally. I'll let hin know.
  10. That's what I normally do too. Stuart is who I emailed on my first try in December, and whose line I tried to reach a couple of months ago. I think I left a message too.
  11. Tried to reach them earlier in the year, by email. No answer. A couple of months back tried to reach by phone, multiple times. No answer. Ended up talking to Cajun. Forgot about it, just to be reminded by a friend who is a member here and who is unable to reach them two days straight. Anybody knows anything?
  12. https://www.henningshop.com/T900-Two Axis Magnetic Magazine Pouch_it-1510919.aspx?CAT=13737 These have been pretty much universal for all steel double stack 9 mm mags, with the exception of 2011 that need own pouches, for me. Setting up the PDP SF belt was as easy as taking my spare CZ belt and replacing a holster.
  13. Thanks for reporting. I am simply sharing what I found in my own research.
  14. See attached screen shot of email from TTI
  15. TTI website doesn't indicate that versatile extensions fit in 140 mm gauge with Walther mags. The description says 140 is OK with Beretta, SIG 226, or Canik mags but doesn't say so for Walther or 365 Macro. Anybody checked that with the gauge?
  16. 14 pounder loaded on a standard length rod may be no less compressed because it has to fit on a shorter rod. Assuming constant rate springs, what you're saying will only hold true if long rod's spring is at least half inch longer in its relaxed state than spring loaded on a standard length rod. Do you know if that is the case?
  17. I presume that if there is no lockup issues with 14 lbs spring mounted on full length rod, there should be no issues with 14 lbs spring mounted on standard length rod. I got Rune guide rod with their spring pack for testing.
  18. If one uses a lower spring weight and the lockup is not good enough, how does the ZR guide rod improve on that when it also uses a lower weight 14 lbs spring? I am not good at pistol mechanics and I am trying to understand that. Can you replace recoil spring on this guide rod? I looked at their site photos and can't figure it out.
  19. Is it staying in that position under use? I don't imagine that you've had a ton of reloads through steel frame but perhaps enough through the Pro. My understanding is that mating surfaces are flat and only screw tension is holding it in place.
  20. There is a conventional round type, and there's a teardrop. Anybody ever used the teardrop in an angled position and had it stay in place without moving?
  21. Cool. Let us know what you think. I hear that choice of holsters for these is limited so far.
  22. It still weighs more than polymer, maybe by a couple of ounces. Surface traction and ergonomic options aside, there is much bigger discussion about what exactly we are looking for when we discuss "recoil", "performance", energy transfer etc. Somebody else mentioned "simple physics". I bet that physics here is not as simple as people think. Mr. Perez above is right, it is really about timers and targets. Practically, I myself have no time to futz around with different grips but I have pretty decent prior experiences with various gun weights. For me 40 to 45 oz dry weight is optimal for 9mm minor pf with no added benefit to go to 50 oz or above. In 2011 world that means aluminum grip and I honestly don't care how recoil feels.
  23. The screw went bad and twisted on itself. Completely fooled me. I noticed that my witness mark on that screw was off and I thought that it simply backed out. When I tried to remove and remount it, it broke in two.
