Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. My USPf .45 s/s has steel 12 rd mags as my HK USPf Tactical .45 but my USPf s/s in 9mm has plastic mags with some metal inserts at the top inside of the mag. Glock sure has some great mags at a very good price.HK's some mags are plastic no one seems to know why some metal and some plastic...
  2. http://www.efkfiredragon.com/products.php?cat=44
  3. Heine make some sights many put on there HK's. I would send the silde to Heine which is common or use a very good gunsmith. I recently a gunsmith install some Heine Straights on a guys new HKc it was horrible butchered. I luckly have a real good smith handy. Duane which way did you go??
  4. I left a link about shooting lead in a Glock or HK above this post. The lead must be HardCast. I do not know but read cowboy bullets are too soft and will lead thus followed by jacketed a great rise in pressure can happen. Have some fun,d
  5. http://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=59 Here is a link about HardCast lead shooting. Hope it helps.
  6. I have a OD 34 and black 24 and just got my 35 from Ed's Public Safety. The Best Glock dealer i have ever had pleasure to do business with, Congrat on all new Glock's, i like the look of the 34 myself.
  7. Not good sounds like a cowboy soft lead. The glock would need hardcast lead. The link i put summed it up.
  8. Duane is right here is a link also explains much better than i could. With Duane and this link i hope it helps. http://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=59
  9. I would like to know what sights you use? I would really like to shoot as you but i don't forsee that. Plus i assume you have some tailored ammo of great recipes.
  10. After i thought more i think possibly a combination of both as you guys state. Plus factory reloads i've seen more than ever recently "over charged" if not double. The only good thing the gun was replaced by the ammo manufacture and mainly no serious injury's. One was a G20 my friend had some factory reloads that were over charged. His glock was replaced and his hand swelled up badly but with a 10mm he's lucky to have his hand and finger's intact. Alot of .45GAP reloader's like reloading the GAP round since it's about impossible to over charge a GAP. Me i have my glocks invested in 9mm to 10mm and no GAP's. Itsa great idea and concept since you can have compact sized .45. my hands are large so i don't need to go that route. The SC Highway Patrol use th Glock Gap not sure the model maybe a 38.
  11. I have 36 and shoot mostly +P i agree totally with your theory. Actually the 36 faired pretty good. But the most imporant thing is the shooter was not hurt badly. I am still leaning more toward a cracked case. just because how it blew out on side... ALTHOUGH there was some melting of the case which in its self isnt proof postive but is a telling clue of a double ... I just think there would have been more damage to the gun with a full double. I dont think it was set back this guy is not new to relaods by any means upwards of 100K rounds... and loaded on a dillon 1050 My post earlier was not directed at you it was another on this thread. I have seen some double charge .40 glocks look very similar to this. But really i don't think it will ever be known for sure just glad no one was hurt no matter the cause. I have G32 i carry alot and i think it has more support than any of my glocks. The reason i think is the .357sig is 5,000psi more than the .40 but thats just my .02. The glock .40's chamber support has increased a good bit over the years. I'll post a link on GT for you if you would like that. Is he sending his 36 to glock for once over? Not a bad idea to.
  12. I have LoneWolf s/s guide rod and a 20# ISMI recoil spring and a LoneWolf barrel for my G20sf. I know of some who use these guide rods as uncaptured i guess easy to change while tailoring their reloads. Never heard of a problem.
  13. I have 36 and shoot mostly +P i agree totally with your theory. Actually the 36 faired pretty good. But the most imporant thing is the shooter was not hurt badly.
  14. I have 24 found local. If i ever try at 50 yds i might need some better sights than the stock ones. I'll check into some sights some members use on their 24, 34 and 35's. I also have OD 34 which feels and shoot's great. My 24 i have not shot it at long distances yet but around 20 ft it is one ragged hole.
  15. It was a reload so Glock has nothing to do with it. This is on GT that's how i know its a reload.
