  1. Ok, that would be the 900A......standard velocity, not really much call for that with the BR guys.
  2. You may want to see what that stuff is actually worth right now.......it could fetch as much as $40 a box.....not due to the political climate, but due to the performance factor it is known for.
  3. I believe that is the 1000B? about 15-20 years old? It's a sub sonic ammo......very popular with BR shooters. I used it back in the day, I'm thinking it was about $11-$15/box. The less expensive 900B turned out to be a little better for the BR guys....unfortunately, both have gone by the wayside back then. Back then you had 900A which was standard velocity, 900B which was sub sonic and this stuff (1000B comes to mind, but that may not be right).....the infamous dimpled case.
  4. Just debugged the lathe programs for the TACCOM ULW 15/22 16" barrel. Now to cut some real chips!!
  5. HAHA......the rib cuts were for one thing and one thing only (and had to be tastefully done too)....braggin rights. When we first came out with the design, we were at 11 ounces and I touted that it was the lightest 16" 10/22 barrel on the planet......to which someone said well hold on there Batman.....someone makes one 10.5 ounces. Well CRAP!!.......so I had to do that for braggin rights. Pretty sure that someone will go lighter soon. To be honest.....11 ounces.....10.5 ounces....10.2 ounces, doesn;t make a hill of beans for difference in performance. What does matter at that point is chambering, barrel blank quality and how good the crown is.
  6. Actually......we have a lead cutter in the works......no way would we leave you hangin!!
  7. I've been running SV in my TACCOM barrel for some time now.......customers are telling me that SV is good to go in the TACCOM ULW barrel with standard recoil springs..
  8. Glock magazines do NOT double feed!!! If you've started to have problems.......look at 1911 101......it's most likely going to be extractor, ejector position or recoil spring. OR.....you have a magazine that went bad. I believe when you say double feed......you actually that mmmmmmmmmaybe a spent round did not clear the firearm? But it still cycled enough to try to feed another round out of the magazine (1911 101). OR the firearm misfed and you tried to charge the weapon again (possible bad mag). To say that a Glock magazine has double fed......would literally mean that upon trying to charge the weapon....TWO ROUNDS CAME OUT OF THE MAGAZINE AT ONCE!!!!.....Did that happen? I'm gonna say NO.....if it did.....end of story, your magazine is bad.
  9. So we are setting up speed shooters international to handle our products......they can ship internationally.
  10. Hard no on the TACCOM....short stroked, unless you are using the TACCOM ESSB, I suspect that short stroking the JP will be the same answer.....but not sure. On the TACCOM, the short stroke pad is included and is optional to install
  11. saw an ad in an NRA magazine........they talk about delayed roller like an MP5
  12. We reintroduced our old 22LR BS from years ago for the 10/22 Chassis system......super light, carbon fiber and delrin. Also, something we are working for our chassis, is a picatinny railed back end and a 4 way adjustable Butt Stock, should be coming online sometime in January?
  13. Being snarky.....puts you down to the bottom!! HAHA.......no, when we finally get those barrels back in stock (by Christmas), we will have a ton of them, you will have no problem getting one. The selling points of our chassis? 1) Absolute lightest chassis on the market. It's made out of Delrin, stupid strong and about 1/2 the weight of anything made out of aluminum. 2) works with left handed bolts (and if you have one that doesn't fit.....the derlin is super easy to whittle down) 3) The Forearm is carbon fiber and super light, pretty much adds nothing to the swing weight. And it can be cut down to be shorter if you wanted to. 4) Pretty much take all AR15 grips.....the one's with the beaver tails need to be cut off 5) The optional ULW butt stocks are available in specified lengths of pull.....the angled BS allows for iron sight use at the Ruger factory height. Or you can use any BS that screws into an AR15 lower. 6) We are more than competitive on price 7) I like to think that we have great customer service.....I tend to answer the phone, or call you back. 8. We machine these in house and the quality of the machining and the fit and finish is awesome!! My personal 10/22 in our chassis, with our ULW BS, our barrel and a 507C.....comes in at just under 3.5 pounds. And I am using a LuthAR chubby grip!!!
  14. I'll try.......So I like to think as the owner of TACCOM, we are not in competition with Modshot, Wiland, Kidd or any other company that makes a chassis for the 10/22.....that market is just too big to be dominated by any one maker. If I had 1% of the 10/22 market that would be like 160,000 chassis......I don't think I could make that many chassis's in 5 years.......but damn, if I could.....I'm retiring!!! And at 1%, this is NOT dominating the market at all. (FYI about 16 million 10/22s out there). Soooooo.....non of us are competing for your dollars. If you don't like what one company is offering, buy from the other.....someone will buy from that one company, because they like what they are offering and at the price point they are comfortable with. The perfect chassis is the one that YOU think is the best for you and your pocket book. I really can't definitively say why one is better than the other for you.......I can however, say that for myself. I can give selling points on our product.....but I will not disrespect the others out there. What's cool is that there are a ton of options out there.....go for what YOU like.....look at what just might work for you, the price, the quality, the customer service, etc. THAT is what makes one chassis more valuable for you. It all boils down to an opinion......and you know what they say about opinions. Sound like a fair answer?
  15. don't overlook the one from TACCOM ....lightest one out there
  16. With most 9mm bolts out there, you can only short stroke so far......due to the cocking ramp. The TACCOM ESSB has the shortest cocking ramp on the planet, hence you can short stroke it more than others.
  17. This is first article off the machines......total weight comes in at 12.2 ounces and that is with the Forearm. The body is made out of Delrin with aluminum inserts for the pistol grip and butt stock. The Forearm comes out to about 2.5" shy of the muzzle on a 16" barrel. Looking at a November 14th(?) release date......still need to get parts out for anodize and waiting on the forearm, which will have Mlock slots. The forearm you see is the prototype that was actually cut on a laser with a rotary. I built one up with a 507C that with a 10.2 ounce barrel was sub 3.5 pounds!!!
  18. Yes, they can run with out an extractor........two things WILL happen!! 1) you will NOT be able to pull an unfired round out of the chamber 2) ejection will be erratic and you'll probably get stove pipes and other nasty malfunctions......it may fire off a few rounds or even more, but it will jam up at some point do to no extractor.
  19. of course.....this works best on the TACCOM barrels
  20. Biggest issue we've seen is with hiperfire triggers.....with worn disconnects. I will not use a these triggers in mine after it went full auto on me. Otherwise.....going with a little recoil spring has worked on people having issues with doubles Tim
  21. The 3 stage is the Chevy and it is pretty much bullet proof and runs well in any application for competition with very little attention to detail and maintainence.......the delayed is a Ferrari, I personally use it in my PCC's and love the snot out of it and think it's faster and less dot bounce than anything out there.......it is not for the squeamish and while it is also bullet proof, requires attention from time to time. Going from the 3 stage to the delayed.....it's gonna screw with your cadence due to the speed and the initial feeling is that it has increase recoil......that is not the case, it's a faster impulse but same amount of energy. The delayed is a different animal for sure.
  22. very nice.......I'll bet we've shipped already too!! Thank you Tim
