  1. Anybody got some experience with VV 330? Want to try it with plated 200 grainers in 40SW On 4.6 gr of VV340 everything cycles and shoots good, want to try a bit faster powder.
  2. Hi there, lost my wrench, trying to find a proper hex or torx wrench for my Glock Heinie rear. What size is it? Tried Torx T6 today - it's a bit loose. Regards Kirill
  3. nope, nothing similiar to me. Guess I'll have to find 3D scaner and 3 axis machining center - it'll be a lot easier =)
  4. The Miculek was designed with neither math nor engineering in mind? How do you figure that? (I'm not a mathematician, engineer, or machinist, so maybe it's not obvious to me.) I'am not saying anything bad about mikulek. It's "best for thr buck" product on the market. But I've tested various JP,SJC,Arredondo,Mikulek etc. The one on photos is holding a first place, eliminating recoil and what's most important - eliminaiting barrel movement. imho That's why I'am trying to understand who made it. The trouble is - most of my shooting goes with Barnaul ammo. Cheap ammo, hornady bullet. PF is a bit low, so muzzlebrake design does play a role.
  5. Nope I have a Miculek in use, this one is designed more carefully, with math and engineering in mind. Inside diameter of the gas chamber with the side ports is smaller than Miculek. Side ports are different. I'll try to get additional pics on weekend.
  6. Hello, couple years ago friend of mine purchased Bushmaster AR-15 with 20 inch barrel and highly effective muzzlebrake. Made of ss with pretty ordinary design, but rifle control is nearly perfect. At least more effective, than with Mikulek or SJC. Any thoughts, who is the manufacturer? pics:
  7. go to dawson precision page it has all the info you need
  8. Despite my area of living (we are not allowed to have pistols or revolvers, only store it in Shooting club), I do work with Glock pistols for about 4 years. Those slides would score 3 points out of 5, meaning stock ones are 5 out of 5. Cheap paint, soft metal, Dawson and Heinie rear sight posts are sliding right and left if not glued. Main question is - maybe problem lays in cheap ammo? I saw Sigs with broken extractors on 6K-10K mileage. My mate's CZ SP-01 Shadow slide got cracked on 20K, another one lived for a 25K. All pistols are running on Barnaul ammo exclusively, sometimes getting Wolf's. Does anybody have any theories on the topic?
  9. gun number 2 note small cracks on 11,1 and 5 o'clock
  10. Hello, we have 3 G17s with a CCF slides and IGB match barrels in our shooting club. One gun with less than a 6000 rounds mileage had a slide failure. Another one with 4500-5000 have small cracks around striker hole. Guess it won't live as long as 300-500 rounds. Third one has 3000 rounds mileage and seems ok. Guess we will see somth intresting for the next 3000 rounds. The slide itself is very soft - deforms quickly in slide stop area. Question is: did anybody see anything like it? May be it's somehow related with use of Barnaul ammo?
  11. thanx it's more than adequate quality. I see a small piece of C-more red dot on 1o'clock position? You just used to shoot that way or Z6i don't give you red-dot speed at 1x power?
  12. Hello, about 6 month ago I purched Z6i with BRT-i reticle. Can't say I'am quite happy with it. Thick lines are blocking too much. And reticle becomes too "busy". Swarovski european office says there will be special reticle for ipsc matches, but no word on how soon. So - if somebody have same Swar Z6 with LD-i reticle in use, can you post pics of it on 1x and 6x? regards Kirill
  13. shoot ONLY Tula have about 14-15K with it goes bang every time I press the trigger
  14. Trying to find thread adapter for AK-74 with 24x1.5 thread. Want to convert to standard 1/2x28
