  1. Grease tends to keep the contaminants making it thicker, as you found out. Why did you change?
  2. I don't care, batteries are cheap + the solar panel.
  3. I mounted a powerbar on the rafters, in the basement, and run them up to it.
  4. What 2 parts? The barrel and recoil spring and rod?
  5. I was never sold on it. Had a 2200 auto flo given to me and after trying it a couple of times, I ditched the bowl and put a 1200 bowl on it and it works way better but with fewer cases.
  6. I find that the Gen 3 was the best. I'm still shooting my 34 in stock condition with only the sights changed to Hi Viz f/o. Never had slide bite and the finger grooves don't bother me nor do I have any problems with the extended mag release.
  7. And they would use the same people that wrote the book in the first place!
  8. To be honest I don't. My PF's are 9mm - 137000, 40S&W - 155000 minor and factory for major, 45ACP - 177000 - 181000 depending on the powder I use.
  9. I still have the .308 and .223 loaders along with the .308 and .223 priming tools. Both have loaded 100's of rounds years ago.

I disagree with them shooting themselves in the foot since they started. It was great when I started in 2006. Shooting themselves in the foot can about 2012 with the addendums because of all the gamers. It really got worse with the Tiger Teams in 2015 (Joyce was running the show, Bill had stepped back) and it's still falling.
  11. I don't own a 2011 but I own Glocks, 1911's S&W revolvers and they all go in my US cleaner, plastic parts and all. No issues at all. I run the Glocks about 30 mins. I have a Lyman US, TURBO SONIC 6000 ULTRASONIC CASE CLEANER. It will hold 2 guns. For the small part I use Rubbermaid screw lid containers that I have drilled 1/8" holes in the bottom and about a quarter of the way up. After running the machine, I rinse in hot water and blow dry using the basement air compressor (20gal tank). I tried the Hornady solution but found at it didn't clean as well as the Lyman. YMMV.
  12. That was the biggest cluster F of all. A friend was on the TT and he was the first one to quit because all they talked about was each of their experiences and nothing of the job at hand.
  13. Which is what I have been saying for over 6 years. The end of the year.
  14. The big picture is a poorly written rulebook - again! What was intent and what is written is the cause of all of the rulebook debates. They say that the AC's talk to each other, I truly doubt that, but there would be some but certainly not all.
  15. She won't have any luck enforcing that rule because more clubs will leave if she tried.. It's been IPSC Lite since 2017. As I said it's being run by amateurs who think that they are adults. There is nothing defensive about IDPA now. It's a lost cause IMO.
  16. The 1 point down didn't bother me. When IDPA started it was 1 point down. We didn't lose many shooters because of it.
  17. I have run matches at a number of clubs, and now run Action Handgun at my club. IDPA the way it was shot in 2007. My rulebook is 4 pages. I was one of the first 6 SOI's in Canada - we were all from the same club. I'm no longer a member of IDPA because they haven't written a rulebook well enough because they keep using very poor amateurs to write it. They say one thing and then change their minds later. The debates of the rules on this forum, IDPA forum are too many.
  18. Why not find a local fabrication/welding shop to make one for you out of stainless.
  19. I've been running a 507C X2 since September and it's shake and wake feature is great. It can be off in the holster and on before the draw is completed. My wife is liking it too.
  20. I'm running Hi Viz greens on the front and red on the rear of all my Glocks. Have done so for 15 years and am happy.
