  1. Do you have the Botach part number for that plate? I need one and can't find it on their site. Thanks!
  2. You should look at the American Shooter Edge bag! It is big and holds up great! I have been using one for almost 2 years now and it looks new. Sam is a great guy that stands behind his products. Good luck.
  3. I have been shooting zero 165's wth N320 for man years and never had an issue. I loaded long at 1.185 and short at 1.135. My 1.135 load is 5.3 and makes about a 172 PF out of several guns. My 1.185 load was I believe 5.6 or 5.7and made major wih no problem. Not sure why yours is shoing pressure signs but might be your crimp, possibly gettig push back or to much crimp casing exess pressure. Good luck!
  4. Another WORLD CLASS match! Just couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with and shoot with! Already looking forward to next years match! Thanks to all that set up, worked and did all the amazing work behind the scenes.
  5. Gentleman, I am not a diabetic, but my father was. I now work for a company manufacturing insulin and I take great pride in the fact that my products are making a difference in people's lives. It makes me feel even better that what I do is helping fellow shooters. I hope the pump makes your life better. Best of luck with it and good shooting!
  6. I have been loading 165 zero bullets with N320 for 10 years now and I love them. I have loaded them long and short, for Glocks and STI's. My short load is 5.2 @1.135 I would suggest starting at about 5.0 and work your way up. Good luck and I hope you like them as much as I do.
  7. I just started using the new American Shooters Edge bag and I love it. It has room for everything you need and is made very well. Designed by a fellow shooter and offered at a great price. Used it some of last year and have no complaints at all about it. I have tried SC, CED and several others over the past 12 years of USPSA shooting and this bag rates at the top of my list.
  8. I have one and I love it! It is made very well and has all the room you will ever need. One of the best things about it is the material the bottom is made of is water proof. The price is hard to beat for such a high quality bag.
  9. MAN I miss the matches at Cool Springs! Glad to know that Ricky and Chuck are still putting on a world class match! I miss helping them and Carlos set it up. What a great bunch of guys and a great match! Keep up the good work guys, maybe I will get back down to shoot the match again! MSgt Rob Jessee USAF, RETIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. that one is definitely old enough to still be covered. You might need to call them, I chose to do that rather than just e-mail them. Hope it works out for you!
  11. Mine did the same thing about 6 months ago. My press was VERY old and I made that fact known to Dillon, as in it was bought when the no BS warranty was a selling point. You might want to see if they can look yours up by serial number and see if they will honor it, you never know unless you ask.
  12. I agree that they work great and solve alot of .40 SS issues. Some how my gunsmith managed to drill and tap mine, I am pretty sure he does it on a mill with carbid cutters. I will try to get in touch with him and find out how he does it. As for EGW doing them, I would rather buy them already done to save time and pain.
  13. I can't shoot a 1911/2011 without shields on the safeties. I tried Swensons but ended up breaking 2 sets. Now I have my gunsmith custom make shields and put them on my safeties. He has put them on my SS Trojan, all my limited guns and even made some for my Caspian high cap .40. Let me know if you are interested and I will post some pictures. His web site is jimjoycecustom.com
  14. did u need special grips for the jjc magwell? or have to cut the ones you have? You do have to trim aprox 1/4 inch off of the bottom of your grips. I use Ergo grips which are textured and easy to trim.
  15. This is my 11 year old son shooting his first match. He is shooing a .22 conversion until he gets his 9mm single stack back from the gun smith. He has ver small hands. His coaching staff was giving him guidance in the back ground. I love to see kids shooting but it means even more when it is your son.
  16. No, got some dirt and grit on it from the type of range we were shooting on. You can try to keep them clean but sometimes it is hard! I look at what the top guys shoot and most of them shoot some kind of open front mag well.
  17. He makes one of those as well. I started with that but changed to the open fron after I had a mag stick in the gun and couldn't get it out. Open fron is much easier to clear mags. Just my opinion.
  18. I use my CR pouches with a spacer that my gun smith makes. The run like $25 for a set of 5 and work great! They push the mags out from your body a little and are very secure. jimjoycecustom.com look him up and give them a try.
  19. This is my set up. Custom made by my gun smith, Jim Joyce. Has worked great for me with Cobra mags. Not a bad price either. Check with him on the price, but I don't believe you will beat it. jimjoycecustom.com
  20. I have a Trojan that I run in SS division. I had several issues with mine doing the same thing. The combination I found that works for mine is standard length ammo, Tripp Cobra .40 mags, and an EGW high mag catch. This catch holds the mag slightly higher in the gun and makes it load better from slide lock. I shoot with several other SS shooters and all of our guns run great, but all have their own combinations. One thing I will say that is the same is the mags, the Tripp Cobra mags are the best on the market and the easiest to maintain. Good luck with your Trojan, let me know if there is anyting I can do to help.
  21. Sorry Scott, it is true, they are not going to hold USPSA matches anymore. PV sent out an e-mail but there are not any details as to why. I hate it too, but there is a new match starting up near Fayettville in March, range 37, link to it is on the section page.
  22. what kind of mag release is that? Jim Joyce makes that as well. I have them on all my guns now. Low profile but extended back some to make the reload easier.
  23. No, that is a custom made mag well that my gun smith makes. It is almost as big as the TGO. It attaches with a screw into the mainspring housing and works great. You do have to trim the grips just a little but for the price it is well worth it. His name is Jim Joyce and he can make it from aluminum or delron to keep the weight down. Check out his web site, www.jimjoycecustom.com
